I don’t think I have to get into how most of us feel about lawyers- the only people that have worse reputations in our society are politicians, and heck, most of them are lawyers anyway.

Humor out of the way, Paulette did not fit that mold. In fact, I never got around to seeing her as a lawyer…a mother, wife, daughter, dog mom, yes, but not a lawyer. My case was an exceptionally difficult one that dragged out for years. Paulette was extraordinary as counsel- she was tough when needed, always cognizant of cost, and provided an ear in addition to great advice.
