This law firm is truly pathetic. Attorney McChrystal single handedly ruined any chance my family had of being reunited. Her lack of compassion and horrible communication skills destroyed any possibility of my family having a chance. She continuously made decisions without consulting with my wife, her client, which not only cost her money she did not have, but separated me from my children. She claims that she prefers the easier, softer way but that could not be further from the truth. She would constantly threaten me using my children to get what she wanted. The whole situation was and remains extremely sad. I would strongly recommend staying as far away from this law firm as possible if you would like to have any chance at a peaceful resolution to your divorce.

Kate Delorenzo was assigned as the Special Master in my divorce proceedings to oversee decisions regarding our children when my ex-husband and I could not come to agreement. She always put the mental and physical well being of the children first and foremost in her decisions. Kate put much thought and consideration into all rulings after taking time to hear from both parents. While she didn't always rule the way I wanted her to, I can say she did always rule in the BEST interest of our children. She listened carefully to all concerns and thoroughly researched before handing down a decision. I without question would recommend her as a GAL or Special Master for any case as she truly cares for the children she represents. My boys lives were quite literally saved by the work she did representing their best interests!

Katherine De Lorenzo is grossly incompetent as a guardian ad litem. She implentmented 50/50 custody of a special needs child with a heroin drug addict (who failed 3 hair folical tests, in two years) the child is now failing school due to attendance and behavior problems from the environment that he was placed in.

Kate McChrystal is an pleasure to work with as trusted partner to my family. She’s sharp, thorough and shows she has her client’s (and their children’s) best interest in the forefront. As a professional, I had decent experiences with the other attorneys at this firm, but I wouldn't trust Atty. DeLorenzo to make permanency recommendations for a house plant.

Kate DeLorenzo has to be one of the most knowledgable people I know. Her calm, comforting demeanor and extensive background in law has allowed me to keep in touch with her years after my divorce. She is always there for a quick phone call or advice on what is best for me and my daughter. If anything ever needs to be filed from here on out, I will make sure Kate represents my daughter and I. Day in and day out, Kate assists her clients and takes to heart what they say in terms of next steps. I trust her wholeheartedly to do what is in the best interest of families and children.

Lindsey Burghardt was a superb family attorney. She helped turn a traumatic experience into smooth sailing. I truly appreciated her candor and professionalism. She brought me back from the edge of insanity more than once and guided me through to really understand and accept my situation. She worked well with my ex wife's attorney and kept the process as civil as is possible. I don't plan on going through this process ever again, so I can't say I'll be a repeat customer, but I cant recommend her enough. If you are going through a divorce, (first off, im sorry, it will get easier with time) and looking for an attorney, look no further. Attorney McChrystal has ruined my family and any chance of reunification. She refuses to communicate. She has no compassion or respect for anyone in my family especially my children. She charges exorbitant amounts of money. She has dragged out our divorce for over a year. If you read her bio on their website it is filled with overinflated lies. My experience has been just awful and I would recommend that you stay as far away from this firm and Kate McChrystal as possible!

Being involved with Kate as the respondent in my divorce case, I can tell you that she never seemed to put the welfare of our family or our children before her client. The overall communication was very poor right from the start putting my marriage at further risk than it already was. I believe Kate is a great lawyer if you want to win, but when it comes to keeping your family together I can't say she would be my first pick.
