I have not had the need to hire a lawyer in the past. But an incident occurred against me and then I found my self being let go due the events. I called on Max, he seemed engaged and concerned and agreed to represent me. I am documenting this as it progresses for other 1st timers like myself. On 1/27/20 I signed and sent the agreement he asked me to sign. On 2/4/20 I called and spoke to max, he asked me to send him an email so we can schedule a time and day to talk about things. *I will update this as time goes on, i am giving a 3 star for now. Again, that will be updated as well as time goes on.

It was refreshing to talk to a Lawyer that listened. Attorney Livingston showed a sincere effort to understand our situation and greatly helped us resolve our employment dispute. We recommend him highly as a thoughtful and knowledgeable counselor.

Mr. Livingston helped me out immensely in my case against my employer. He came very well prepared and the situation went from possible termination to as if nothing ever happened. Wow and absolutely unbelievable. Totally careless attorney. From the very start this attorney has never been on my side. I can never get ahold of him and he never cared to update me on my case. Almost a year went by with no word from max. In the beginning I sent him all the text messages and other evidence I had to support my case then a year an a half later he tells me he never got my text messages at which time it had been so long that they were long gone. I trusted him to keep and preserve evidence and he did the opposite. Please beware max did absolutely nothing for me rather he proved beyond a doubt that what my former employer and co worker did to me was acceptable and ok to happen in the workplace. He never said a word about my court case until over a year and a half later when he asked what happened with it an if I very even went to court. And then he tells the investigator which I have in writing that I did not have proper counsel for my case therefore never appeared in court. So by all means if you have an issue and need an attorney and you want to waist two years of ur life and lose ur case as well as ur rights as a human being. And you really want to hire an attorney for the person or persons that have done you wrong then hire Maxwell Livingston. He will do a great job at defending those who did you wrong no doubt. If you are looking to be represented by an attorney that is on ur side through the whole process and looks out for ur better interests at all times then I can tell you stay far away from Maxwell Livingston. And then he tells me via email that he won't represent me for the appeal. Please please please stay away from this attorney. I suppose it should have been a sure sign to find out he lives in California and this is Wisconsin. But I didn't see the signs clearly til it's too late because I trusted this attorney to be on my side and help me get justice. Which was by far one of the worst mistakes I have made in my whole life since now all the evidence that he told me he had is gone. Watch out please....

For the purpose of an ongoing case I cannot go in full depth of details in the services I have received from Maxwell Livingstone. From the first time I contacted Maxwell I knew I was in good hands because the concerns an time he devoted on the phone before I obtained him. He listened to me as I explained my difficult situations to him; he still took my case even though it was an uphill battle. Not only he is reasonable in fees, but, he first looks at you as a person not just another $ sign. Although I am not finished with my situation, I felt I needed to write a small review about him for the services he has provided to me until this point.

I worked with him a few years back during my divorce. I wasn't impressed. I feel he offered little more than the bare minimum of advisement. I also found him very unprofessional at times.

Contacted him a few weeks ago regarding a wrongful termination case and never even bothered to respond back.
