Mr. Thompson, I appreciate your review, but I did not represent you. I believe you are speaking of another attorney in my office. I am sorry you feel you had a differing experience, but again this was not my file.

Well i have very mixed experiences 1st Time i signed up with them i payrd out of pocket for a family matter and emails where replayed back to with in 15min andbm top notch service. Now The Second Time it was for a criminal case. And court appointed. Not 1 email has ever been returned i was to to waive my preliminary hearing. And please never do that. Its a hige mistake. She never came back with a counter offer its what is where the exact words she used. There was no negotiation no nothing just here and ill be right back. We paid a lot of money the 1st round now she still gets paied from you or the state the service should never change i habe been told by several i was not giving the proper guidance and was miss represented. And miss lead i havd learned that there is a huge difference between your out of pocket and the states but when the retainer alone is $10,000 up to 15,000 its not easy to do on your own. But like she told me it is what it is.... that sucked because everything in life is s negotiation and they ran the play on this with out me and i never even was able to speak.

Represent yourself, that way you won't be disappointed and you might have better luck!
Heidi Wolf has a reputation as the best litigator (trial attorney) in the county. Period. Full stop. Bar none. From what I can tell, it is earned; she certainly came through for me. My experience with her was in family court. That said, the experience of family court, especially divorce, is incredibly painful for everyone involved. Generally speaking, no one wins. First you have have to subtract all the court costs from your family funds -- which can be substantial. Then you need to provide for two households on the same income. Your time with the children is divided. The children's life experience will be forever altered. The Wolf law firm needs to support a building, a legal assistant, a clerk, some down time, plus other clients who, unlike you, are not always conscientious about payment. As a result, the fees may be high.
Ms Wolf is worth every penny.
That said, she can only work with what she is given. The system itself is not always quick to respond, the rules of evidence and other court rules may make progress difficult. Proving a negative is difficult, as is proving a false allegation to be false. In my experience, Ms. Wolf was strictly ethical in her behavior. If other side is not so, that could result in some small short-term disadvantage in court. At the time, it will probably not feel small or short-term to you. I can understand why people, looking for someone to blame, might give her a poor review. That may be understandable. However, it is not deserved.
Now for the good news. I said that generally no one wins in a divorce. However, if you have lived with genuine abuse, or the children did, then getting away can win you a chance to have a new life, and the happiness that comes with it. Notice I said "a chance"; it will not be given to you. You will have to take it. And if you do not take your own life back, if you do not take your own happiness, well, your lawyer cannot be responsible for that.
Finally, as to the rest of the staff, the support and back-office staff are cheerful, prompt, and helpful. I do have a positive impression of Laurie Tange. That said, only spoke with her a few times, and that was briefly.

Heidi does a great job at what she does. She is very tentative to you while representing you and gets right to the point without runaround. I have used her in more then one occasion involving custody issues and she has succeeded for me every time, not only does she "win" but she helps you understand along the way. i highly recommend Heidi and she will have my business for life!

Heidi represented my fiancé through a pretty nasty custody battle. She was diligent through out the trial and fought for what was best for the children as well as helping us understand the system and all matters included. She isn’t afraid to stand up for her clients and will do everything in her power to help your case. Very professional and easy to work with.

Ruthless in the courtroom , not afraid to mix it up with anybody , and won't hesitate to hurt some feelings along the way. Worth every penny !! If u need to win.
