Mr. purdy was defending my fiancé and I must say he is the absolute worst lawyer I’ve witnessed. The first things he said to my fiancé when they met was that he was going to prison. He refused to speak with me when I called for information. He told my fiancé’s mother to stop calling. He did not fight for him the way he should have. During his sentencing he didn’t try to help the situation and didn’t say anything good about him at all. He started off with his mind set that my fiancé was guilty and he did not work with him at all he worked against him. He gave us false hope stating that he would would only get 10 years and he got 20. He is just all around a bad lawyer and I wouldn’t recommend him.

Awful. Paid him $3500 to fight a bogus DUI charge, and I got the same fines and punishment as the two people I shared a cell with that had the same charge as I. Then, four years later, I needed the records and paperwork for something else, called, and was told they would fax them. They never did. This guy is an old prosecutor, so he is probably still friends with the current prosecutors and judges. He took advantage of me knowing that I had no idea how things work, and I've never been in trouble before then. Do not hire thus guy if you want someone to fight for you.
