Kelly wins! This was the first time I needed a lawyer and we got really lucky in finding him. My wife and I were trying to move out of state with our kids for a better job, but my ex was unwilling to work with us. I am happy to say that we are now in Kentucky. Kelly is not just a great lawyer, he and his legal assistant Michele are understanding and patient in their willingness to answer any question in detail. I always felt as if we were their only clients when speaking to them. On top of that, he is amazing in the courtroom where his attention to detail is unrivaled.

This guy will rip you off and soak you for as much money he can get from you. I have turned him into the attorneys bar association several times. I did a simple child custody case where both parents were agreeing to and what should have taken a month at the most took almost a year and a lot more money than what was agreed on. I would get the run around and told lies after lies. DO NOT USE THIS LAWYER. PLEASE TAKE MY WORD FROM EXPERIENCE ON THIS ONE.

People don't understand not everyone gets it right the first time everytime, but this man my children's life forever in the most positive way. Highly recommend him. From what I seen today and was told by my family member I'm not impressed with this firm at all...when your client has to make all there own copies of papers & pay for them, PROBLEM! When your client is told your colleage Will take you on instead of yourself after just meeting with you (mr. Lambert), PROBLEM! When your collage has know clue what is going on with the client, shows up 20 minutes before court to rush through the case, BIG PROBLEM!!!!!

Kelly G Lambert III and his assistant, Michelle, are an excellent team! Kelly was able to review the charges and information of my case and deftly focus on the issues that matter while bypassing 'fluff' with no bearing on the outcome. He's not someone whom you should be commiserating with about your fears. Get a therapist - it's cheaper! Allow Kelly to effectively use the time you've paid him for. Kelly is a man of few words but works quietly behind the scenes. Based on the results Kelly Lambert produced in my case, those few words were strategically spoken. I was facing at least 5 years of imprisonment and fines (based on the inflated collection of charges brought against me). As a result of the skilled negotiations by Attorney Lambert, a plea bargain for 180 days 'house arrest' and probation were ultimately agreed to. A note of personal opinion: I noted the 4.2-star rating doesn't tell the whole story. Virtually EVERY rating of Kelly Lambert III is a 5-STAR RATING, with the exception of several dissatisfied 1-stars. Clients aren't wishy-washy about Kelly, they clearly have the highest respect for his performance, as do I.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Mr Lambert. He worked extremely hard for my son in his situation stemming from college. He went above and beyond to prove his innocence and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. He was facing 15 years in prison and I’m proud to say he will never step foot inside of a prison. Mr Lambert is the best defense attorney in the Grand Rapids area. Definitely give him a look if you’re in need of legal help.

My son go into some trouble and did not tell us untill it was more serious than it should have been. Kelly took care of everything and made it possible to not have this effect his record and make it even harder for him as he gets older. He was swift in fixing this and was very reasonable in the cost to resolving this. Will definitely recommend him to others and use in the future if needed.

Kelly was the worst part of my divorce process. After paying a high retainer for an easy case, he consistently belittled me, even going so far as saying I was lying about the severity of physical abuse inflicted on my child by my ex, even after presenting medical documents and photos. As if I wasn't going through enough...

He was neglectful of the case itself, and would show up to court asking me for important documents I had already sent to his office long before hand. He would take calls for other clients in the middle of our meetings, which I found rude and could overhear personal details which I'm sure breeches confidentiality agreements. He had even appeared to be sleeping in court another time.

The amount of oversights by Kelly is infuriating and laughably predictable now. Not only did he forget to include my name change with the final divorce papers, but blamed the mistake on me and refused to fix it without being paid more money. Cool.

Lastly, after him closing the case I was sent a letter notifying me as such, which also asked for a good review on Google and for me to give out referrals with some of his business cards that they forgot to include in the envelope. I wish I was joking. Speaks volumes about his practice in my opinion.

I hired Kelly Lambert to help me get my estranged ex to sign over parental rights so that my husband can adopt my daughter. I paid over $2,000 upfront and Kelly said that he would take care of everything. He filed a petition and that was about it. Then I didn't hear anything from him or his office for a long time. I started calling his office to try and find out what was going on and the lady there was rude and basically says she'll take a message and then you never hear back from anyone. The whole process took so long (over a year) because they dragged their feet. I started doing my own research and making phone calls and then learned that I had to call and get forms filled out and apply for a new birth certificate which is part of what Kelly was paid to do. I basically paid them to do nothing which led me to do most of the work myself. This wasn't just hard on me but this was also hard for my little girl at the time as well because she was also waiting for this to be over so that she could have closure. If I wouldn't have followed up on my own case and tied up all of the loose ends that he left, I would STILL be sitting here waiting for nothing. I still can't believe how much I paid for this poor and neglectful service. Unbelievable. Don't waste your time or money on Kelly and his completely incompetent staff.

I hired attorney, Kelly Lambert, to represent me in my visitation/custody case in family court. I was extremely dissatisfied with the service that him and his firm provided. The communication was very poor and I feel strongly that my case was grossly neglected.

For instance, I specifically asked his staff if there was anything else I needed to do as far information or even making the trip from Georgia to Michigan to be present for my initial court hearing, they told me everything was good and I was all set. They did also state that they would relay my message regarding this matter to be certain that there was nothing else needed from me and that did not happen. I expected at the very least to be advised whether or not it was in my best interest to be physically present for court, with enough time to allow for travel arrangements. Instead, my concerns were never addressed and I was told by one of the staff members, the morning of court, that "it would've been best" for me to be present.

The purpose of hiring an attorney is to receive legal counsel, and what I got was certainly not that. Instead, Mr. Lambert seemingly just went through the motions with very little care for the outcome of my case as the new order for visitation was in no way better than the original. If you are looking to hire a passionate attorney with at least an ounce of fight in him, look elsewhere.

Our teenage son was seriously injured in a car accident while fleeing from the police in the fall of 2016 (thank God, nobody else was seriously injured) Upon his release from the rehab facility, he was arrested and charged with a 2nd degree fleeing and eluding, a 10 year max. prison sentence. Kelly was able to get the charges dropped to a 3rd degree fleeing and eluding, a 5 year max. Our son was facing one of the toughest judges in the Grand Rapids court system, so needless to say we were very nervous about the outcome of his sentence. I must admit, Kelly was not the greatest communicator during this entire process; HOWEVER we are now convinced that he worked his "magic" behind the scenes without us even knowing. Our son's final sentence.......10 months jail time, with NO probation!! We were ecstatic with the outcome of his sentence and would recommend Kelly Lambert to anybody that is in need of a great lawyer! Well done Kelly!

I am a man who has not really had the best of experience with lawyers so for those who take the time to read this please understand I do not write recommendations very easily. This service is beyond horrible the staff is very rude (Michelle driesenga) instead of answer for a question you get a bucket full of attitude. Mr. Lambert does not return phone calls nor does he file motions when you pay him to, I paid $60 for a motion to be taken care of for friend of the court and it was never filed when I called Lambert's office they said I paid $20. I'm also leaving for the military I'm going to basic training so I called to ask an honest question of how child support works. The secretary's response was " OK sir people leave for the military EVERYDAY and STILL pay child support so you're not exempt" with a ton of attitude. I was not asking to be treated "special" I was wondering how it works. I cannot afford backed child support. She does not relay messages to him. When I asked how many hours I have left with him the conversation went like this this.
"Could you tell me how much time I have left with Kelly?"
Her: "idk how much time"
"Could you please look it up and let me know or call me back with an answer?"
Her: " no."
" seriously? Why can't you?"
Her: " it's in your file and it's time consuming and I'm not going to do it."
"Wow."

That is the service you pay $2100 for I messed up and paid upfront. And got very little. It's disgusting they take your money and run act like YOURE the problem.. save your money people

By all rights and reasons I was supposed to go to jail today for probably 5 years or so. So I called Kelly. Walked away with 18 months probation and my second charge completely dropped. Mr. Lambert is the epitome of a great defense attorney who will be the advocate on behalf of his client to ensure that he or she will be treated fairly in a time that it matters the most. I hired Mr. Lambert to defend my husband who was awaiting a one to thirty year sentence with three charges for possession of illegal substance with the intent to deliver. I had been told before that Mr. Lambert is in the business to negotiate probation or the minimum sentence possible. Mr. Lambert's reputation spoke volumes on the day of my husband sentence. Mr. Lambert was able to negotiate with the prosecution and worked out a deal that resulted in dropping two charges and a recommendation of probation. In the end, my husband was sentenced to 330 days in the county jail and four years probation. Even though I would rather have my husband home, I am a practical person who understands that the extent of his crime could of lead him to face anywhere between one to thirty years in prison if we didn't have Mr. Lambert's help. I would definitely recommend him to my friends and family. As my husband would say "he is worth every cent".
