I met Jim about 20 years ago. We were attorneys on opposite sides of a highly contentious divorce case. We butted heads a bit but worked through the case and got it resolved. Jim did a good job advocating for his client. I quickly learned that he was a smart, capable attorney. After that, I used him for a personal legal matter, and he provided excellent advice and guidance. I later collaborated with him on various real estate matters and, again, found him extremely capable. Jim is honest, hardworking, and always has his clients' best interest at heart. I would highly recommend him to anyone with legal issues in his practice areas.

Good attorney

No answers in 45min initial consultation @ $185/hr. After answering lots of why questions, we finally got to my previously stated purpose, to review docs. He didn't have time to review a simple purchase agmt (so why did they schedule me then!?). He talked in circles and never really answered my direct questions, instead trying to get me to postpone signing my docs to come back again. Then he tried to charge me for what I considered a trivial conversation. He final consented to waiving the fee when I insisted for a third time that I received no value. Thus, three stars instead of one.
