How I wish I had seen Kathy Chupp’s and Renee Dean’s reviews of Sara Fazio before it was too late. Kathy Chupp articulated my exact same experience with Sara, although I did not have the foresight to cut my losses and insist on another, decent lawyer to represent me. My simple case took over three months, and tens of thousands of dollars, with an unacceptable ending. Everything in Kathy’s review happened to me also.... even worse. I have never encountered such costly incompetence. Sara never looked at the background information I had sent. Nor did she read and respond to most of my correspondence. Or she simply was unable to retain facts. Sara kept dragging the whole process out, and I kept imploring her to just file the necessary petition (which would not have been needed had she done her job). She and her assistant forgot to have papers served, until I reminded them at the last minute, and then they failed to tell me the hearing date. I only was told by the server, who called me because they had not given him enough info to serve the recipient. Sara never explained what was needed and when. We were not properly prepared to how our court case would proceed. We waited just outside of the court, and she was nowhere to be found. She had not told us where to meet her which just added to the stress. But the worst was when she manipulated us with lies and deceptions and then denied later doing so. Had she told us we would settle without a trial, I would have prepared totally differently. Later, I asked Sara how and when we were going to proceed with what she had told us privately in court, and she denied it all. I was stunned by her blatant lies and manipulations. And crushed at how she had so failed me and my needs and requests in such a brutal way. I felt, and still feel, used and abused. Each month her bill and costs had been questionable. Sara could not give me viable rationale. Her reality of time and expenses did not match mine. Sara totally disrespected me. Sara created and caused so much anxiety and stress over the three months, that I’m still having nightly nightmares. I don’t want ANYONE else to suffer what I and the other reviewers experienced. I can’t even recommend the law firm/group knowing someone might also be subjected to Sara. Sara and her assistant clearly and repeatedly failed me while charging an unfair fortune.

Where do I start.. Well first off I am NOT pleased with the services that Ms. Fazio has provided to my mother. My mother has serious health problems and she is in the process of losing her home all because Ms. Fazio does not care about her client only the money. Ms. Fazio is not good with communicating and she continues to bill my mom for her time even though she isn't getting anything done in the case. She will respond with a ONE word answer to a question and then bill you for almost $200! My mom feels like she has been left in the dark regarding her case and because of this, she is on the verge of losing her home. Having an lawyer is supposed to give you some type of peace knowing that someone is going to help fight for you but in this case my mother doesn't feel this way and it hurts me because Ms. Fazio isn't doing enough for her to save her home. She is going to be left without a home and an outrageous lawyer bill!

I do not recommend Sara Fazio to anyone.

I had a less than favorable experience with Sara Fazio in my case. She was very rude, condescending and crass. She gave very few updates and was less than optimal in explaining things relating to my case. She was eager to take a large amount of money from me with a very minimal amount of work and finished tasks. When I asked her to excuse herself from my case she continued to accept calls from people instead of referring them to my new attorney which is a partner in her firm. Then refused to adjust her bill accordingly. I never even laid eyes on this woman and paid her more than $25,000. And got nowhere in my case. What a disservice!! She Expects High fees with subpar work. Would not recommend Sara to to anyone that needs an attorney. You can do much better with far less than the nearly $400 per hour that she charges. Also felt the need to consult with many other attorneys in her firm and proceeded to charge me for her lack of knowledge and need to consult. I not only got charged from her but from the other attorneys that she spoke with as well for the same conversation. Way to double-dip Sara.
