Absolute joke of a “practice “ . Stay far far away. Better off flushing your retainer money down the toilet. Zero communication from the so called attorneys, total incompetence in the courtroom due to ZERO preparation.

If Google would allow me to rate with a zero, I would. Unfortunately, it requires that I give one star in order to post a comment. To forewarn others from getting shammed by Victoria J. Smith, it might just be worth it. If you want to pay thousands of dollars for an attorney to do absolutely nothing for you in a court of law, then Victoria J. Smith is just the attorney you've been looking for.

From her own profile she claims to offer affordable legal assistance. She believes in keeping the client informed & making the process as stress-free and painless as possible, etc., etc. Here's the kicker! This was far from our experience.

She never kept us informed and waited until the last minute to tell us of a hearing date. It literally gave us little to no time to request time off of work let alone be prepared for the court date. If that wasn't bad enough, she sat there mute while the opposing attorney made false accusations against our family. She is a joke as an attorney and her expertise should really be in mathematics because she sees her clients as $$$. After all the ways she failed to represent us, she sends a hefty bill as if she climbed Mount Everest for us.

So basically, if you acquire her services, you can expect to pay the typical retainer fee, charges for every email or phone call she responds to, while holding your court documents hostage until your debt with her is satisfied in full (regardless of whether for not there are judgments pending) that you are unaware of. This is her practice in a nut shell. There is no sign of integrity with this attorney. A word of caution - before you throw away your precious hard earned dollars - seek out more requitable law firms.

In response to Achilles Oden, we did pay. We got billed for her doing absolutely nothing on our behalf. I'm glad you were satisfied with her work but are experience was far from pleasant.

I had Ms. Smith do my court work for me. I told her what I needed and wanted done once. Waited for her to type up whatever documents that I needed. Signed them and was done. I read one other review on here and just a heads up if you don't pay people for work they usually don't do it.
