I hired Scott Grabel to defend me against false accusations of criminal sexual conduct 4th degree. From the very beginning Scott promptly responded to my website case information submission and was extremely proactive and attentive to the case. If I had not hired Scott and had his proactive handling of the case, to avoid being charged for these false accusations, it would have been detrimental to my family and career.

I called Scott Grabel's office after 11 pm on a Saturday night and left a message with his answering service regarding a relative that had been arrested and was due to see a judge the next day. He called me back that same evening. He explained what my relative should be expecting over the next 24 hours as well as next steps that would need to be taken. He was very thorough, clear, and honest with his explanations and turned a horribly terrifying experience into one I could face with confidence and a sense of calm. While it turns out the charges were dropped, so we did not need to hire Scott for his services (which he was genuinely happy about although it meant losing money), I would have felt completely comfortable hiring him and am 100% certain he would have done an excellent and caring job representing my relative. I would recommend him to anyone .

After trying to talk to several local attorneys, all were either too busy or too disintetested in my predicament to be bothered. Called Grabel and talked with a very nice case manager. She told me to keep my phone line open and an attorney would call me promptly. Within an hour and a half, a very knowledgeable attorney discussed my case for twenty minutes and told me what to do. Pro Bono! Free! He told me if what he advised didn't satisfy the retailer, call him back and he would take my case. Wow. I couldn't believe it. No b.s. He was very kind and didnt talk down to me. Highly recommended lawyer! Mr. Grabel is very professional and knowledgable. My case happened suddenly on Saturday, but Mr. Grabel is 24/7 on call, which was what I needed. I called on Saturday night and the front desk told me I would hear back from the lawyer shortly. Only 30mins later, I got a call from Mr. Grabel himself and he eased my anxiety quickly by explaining the situation and options I had. I knew I was in good hands. What impressed me most was he is very familiar with the needs of international students and suggested the most proactive plan to my case. My experience was with an associate named Bill Weise. Bill worked very hard on my case. He has spent a lot of time doing research and never failed to inform me of the results. He went out of his way to confer with other lawyers. Bill knew experts to consult that were professional and more than capable of their duties. His staff, especially Christie, always treated me with respect and have been very dutiful. Bill's team has made sure that I am ready for my next day in court. He seems to sincerely care about getting the best outcome possible for me.
