Jules fiani does excellent work and was wonderful with helping set up a payment plan

Hired him to represent me for an OWI charge. He was more expensive than other attorneys I contacted, but seemed worth it because of other reviews and the fact that he is available 24/7. He did an adequate job defending me, but I felt like he was just pushing me through the system and didn't really listen to me or believe me. I ended up contacting another attorney right before my sentencing and she suggested that I start attending AA meetings, which have helped a lot. I never got any advice like that from Fiani, even though I told him that I didn't have any coping skills outside of using. I violated my bond and ended up spending 2 awful days in jail where I was not allowed the meds that are prescribed to me by my psychiatrist. Fiani knew I was on those meds, my psychiatrist had written a letter detailing my diagnosis and my medications. Instead of giving me a heads up about the med policies of the jail, he berated me for violating my bond and then said "If you don't like what I'm telling you, fire me and find someone else." This was the Friday before my sentencing on the following Monday. I never felt like he was on my side, and for $2500 for a first offense OWI charge, I would expect the attorney to at least pretend that he cared about my well being. I regret hiring him and would never use him again.
