I have went through John Bissell's lawfirm and referred them on 3 separate occasions. The first occasion was with my personal divorce, where my ex, myself and the conciliator agreed on me having full, physical custody and when the final judgement went through they made an error in paperwork giving us joint custody. Second for my ex- husband to gain full custody after my son in laws mother abandoned him for 6 months and it was only when my mother in law convinced her to sign off rights, it ended. This last time as my referral, they charged nearly a $1000 for reviewing case/evidence and One Single Letter for a conciliator's meeting where the attorney does not physically show, with the original agreement based on the contract that Emily Klavinski would sue for frivolous accusations/ false allegations, attorney fees and show all evidence we provided. She originally agreed to this, then after retainer fee, retracted her statements, only showing 1/3 of the evidence given for false accusations we provided to try and "prevent" a full court case. The lack of evidence shown in the paperwork filed was extended to a full trial, as attorney's tactics didn't work and claimed when we had full evidence that these were all false allegations because she didn't provide all evidence we have, then charged an additional $500+ dollars for the one letter and said she would not continue the case without a $3,000 retainer fee, as if taking on a homicide investigation or defense. When this could have been fully prevented if she would have shown all evidence originally given to her, but she insisted "that shortening the letter to the conciliator would prevent a trial", then leaves us high and dry requesting over $3,500 to continue with less than a week's notice after realizing didn't provide enough evidence", when she's legit not even worth $50 or less an hour with lack of ambition, agressiveness and not doing as requested by clients who pay her. She is vindictive and manipulative. She's only trying to line her own pockets. Do not trust her or pay her a dime. She will tell you what you want to hear and after being paid a retainer, sugarcoats for the other party, only prolonging the case and helping herself out financially, while you get placed on the back burner.

This is the worst attorney i have ever experienced. He does not complete/follow thru with motions, nor are they accurate. I do not suggest to anyone to pay this attorney one red penny as he does not have your best interest in mind. He even appeared to be asleep in a court hearing.
