I first went thru a divorce without an attorney, later I come to find out that was a mistake. I was referred to Selleck legal by a friend and am by far very pleased with the service. Stacy and her staff were very friendly and professional in all the times I've needed them. Stacy was professional in and out of the courtroom and very courteous to my time and needs. Even after the case was settled she helped and answered any questions. I would recommend her office to anyone that was planning on it going they divorce.

After 6 years of going back and forth to court with my narcissistic ex-husband we were finally able to get an attorney who worked for me and did what we asked instead of giving in to my ex and working for him. We contacted Stacey for an initial consultation to get her thoughts on a possible modification of custody, more importantly parenting time. She gave her honest feedback, and didn’t feel we met the county’s guidelines for a possible change. However, she gave us scenarios to keep in mind for the future, that would allow us to file for a change.
Months later, we reached back out to Stacey and she was quick to draft a motion and “jump on it” as we had a reason to now file. In the courtroom, Stacey is incredible. Her knowledge is impeccable, and her memory of details you’ve mentioned previously, is outstanding. Stacey is personable, fair, and an incredibly fierce attorney to have by your side!

Horrible experience. Every email, and document had a typo in it. I had to send an email back pointing the typo's out, which I probably got charged for. It was rare that I actually knew what was going on in my case. There is a total lack of communication in that office. Stacey would tell me one thing and her assistant/paralegal would tell me another. And that's only when they bothered to respond. Stacey would never fight for me, she pretty much wanted me to concede on everything cause it was "easier". The bill that I received after my case was over was ridiculous. There were numerous bogus charges. There was a parking fee charge, even though the court house had NO parking fee, which only makes me wonder what other bogus charges are on there. And this is after she told me originally "I don't see this going over the retainer", well an extra $900 begs to differ. Use anyone else but her.

Before I came to Stacey I was a hopeless mom without any custody of my son because I gave that up with no idea what I was giving up becuase of father's threats. Consultated with the other 7-8 attoneys showed no symphathys or understandings to my case, they told me you gave that up means you gave up, it's a judgmen of consent, even though I told them my son's situation was not very well with his dad, there are proper changes and circustances changes there, they wouldn’t considered. All thier sayings were I just can't believe that you gave custody up which made me went through a huge depession. Stacey here, quicky jumped to the topic and understood me and my son' s situation compeletely without any judge, promised me she will get me shared legal custody and specific parenting time as I want in next month to file it as an emergency motion. She was not even pushing me for the payment. I went home, prayed for God, I was beening looking for a family attonerys all over the Michigan, she was my last hope. I believe she is the ANGEL sent by God to protect my son's best interest and my life. She knows how to act properly in the court system, she knows how to react immediately when any emergency situations happened, she made strong statements! Their team are caring about my case, always call me how things going, is evenything OK. So now I am here with temperary legal custody and specific summer parenting time as I asked for. Tomorrow I will fight for my son's SOLE custody together with Stacey at court. I could never imagine this would ever happened, I know we have a long way to go. At least my son is in much much better situation now, that’s all matters, because he is my whole world. I have no yet received any statement since I paid my non refunable deposit, I hope the bill is under control. So far it worths every penny i spent.
