I did what most people do when they get a scary letter from the IRS... searched online for what to do. Apparently everyone has all the answers, so it was hard to determine who to work with. After a good amount of research, I called silver tax group since they seemed to be the most personable, and like I could actually talk to a real human being on the phone. I feel like I made the right decision. Although everything isn't complete in terms of the filing, they've been nothing but amazingly supportive and responsive with my case. Even if this doesn't work out and I still have to payout some money to the IRS, I'm definitely confident my case was handled better than anyone else could have possibly handled it. It's a good feeling.

My sister was going through a terrible ordeal and this corporation was recommended to her to help her. She paid over $10,000 and it has been over a year with NO results. I would think twice about hiring them. She can not even get a hold of anyone by phone or email.

They did tell me that the problem would not be solved overnight and I understand that it takes time to get this thing taken care of. I tried myself and was on hold for a few hours before being hung up on by the IRS. I talked with Korey first at Silver Tax Group and signed up, I spoke with the Owner of the Firm Attorney Silver a few days later. It was worth me knowing what I was into and how to get out of it. Everyone I spoke with at this Firm was knowledgeable about tax issues and I did look at other firms. I would recommend using them. They are not a huge Firm but not very small either.

I felt confident working with Silver Tax group until the money changed hands and then all sense of urgency stopped. Also, I paid $995 for an investigation that was not necessary, because it turns out the IRS did not have the ability to seize my 401k. It took me one call to my benefits provider to uncover that, yet Silver Tax spent days looking for a solution that was not necessary. Not very good research nor investigating.

The Silver Tax Group provides outstanding service, in both the legal and accounting aspects of tax compliance. I thoroughly recommend them.
Our tax laws are tough to navigate, with jargon, gratuitous complexity and continually changing rules. But we're all expected to comply, even in gray areas where the authorities themselves are not clear how to interpret the law. Nevertheless, STG somehow keeps up with all this and provides expert advice and excellent assistance, including the thorny area of international taxation.
But - above all - they treat their clients as human beings, with interactions that are courteous, professional and helpful. To me that was very important in this perplexing area, with its draconian penalties for mis-steps. I felt along the whole way to a successful resolution that STG was "there for me".

STG got my tax debt down to a very acceptable payment. IRS wanted close to 600 a month and STG negotiated my account down to well under 300 dollars. STG has made my life much better by dealing with the IRS and making sure that it didnt ruin my life, as we know the IRS can and will. I have been so frustrated with the lack of help with an audit that was established 3 years ago . I was convinced that the irs works with intimidation to solve audits! I was told my case was new enough to be resolved! After paying over $20,000 + I didn’t hear from them in 2 years. None of my phone messages were returned during that time! When I received paperwork from the IRS they didn’t even have them on record as representing me. I had to send the documents to them. By that time there was nothing left to settle except to accept the inflated taxes and double for interest! Don’t waste your time or money I want a refund!!!!

I got a demand letter from the IRS for almost $125,000 because an H&R Block employee forgot to fill in ONE LINE on the Schedule D which in my case was related to the sell of a home. I had already sent the IRS the documentation proving that I was well within the allowed guidelines for capitol gains on a home and owed nothing-but they ignored it! Attorney Silver contacted the IRS and told them I owed nothing, he had all the documentation and he was going to win this case. Immediately I received an IRS letter saying the documentation I had sent them was sufficient and the investigation was closed!! Amount owed $00.00!!

im a high stress person so when my audit started i called silver. its been a 5 years now but my case is tricky. no they dont hold my hand and call me every month but neither does the IRS. and i do understand when i cant get a hold of them. they have a lot more customers than me. i do appreciate the hard work they have put in to resolve this issue. if you get a lien from the IRS well thats going to happen and any firm who says otherwise is lying. they have been straight shooters with me. thanks again for putting up with me

Silver Tax has done an outstanding job seeing that we get all business tax deductions we're entitled to. Ten times better than the CPA firm we fired who apparently was "the best".
