Mr. Evans , was an arbitrator our company hired regarding a civil litigation case . Even though he found in our favor by 90% the process was a travesty. Evans went off four corners of the complaint creating another cause of action that was not plead and used federal law in a state filed case . Cam Evans created a new cause of action to give the plaintiffs something when they were not deserving . In addition he award legal fees to plaintiffs attorney and denied our companies attorney fees even though we were vindicated. Cam Evans could have awarded our fees but simply chose not . Mr. Evans failed miserably in his duty, was sympathetic to plaintiffs who actually fell asleep during the arbitration proceedings. I would never under any circumstance recommend Cam Evans as an arbitrator for an employment matter.
