Absolutely without a doubt the worst legal representation I have ever experienced in my life. If you want unfulfilled promises, A total lack of communication and the worst possible outcome, call this firm. They promise you one thing just hours before court only to find out they "mixed" your name up with someone else and it was all a lie. They don't return phone calls Period. Also, about midway through the process they switch up lawyers only so that the new one has no clue what has been going on the entire time. Don't worry though they will collect their money immediately. ABSOLUTE JOKE!!

I received a check last week from restitution from the drunk driver who hit me back in May. It couldn’t have come at a better time. I took a cab that cost me my last 25 dollars to Bank of America. Well they wouldn’t cash the check because they couldn’t “verify” the signature. So i called the office and told them what’ happened. They told me to go their office and they would just give me cash. Well I had no more money or a way down there (sad I know) anyways their paralegal, on a Friday night mind you, drove to my house to bring me an envelope with the money in it!! I had some minor legal issues. They were able to do everything they said they’d do, and they really work with u on payments. Well, it was tough months I have been through…Got a DWI Misdemeanor couple of months ago, was terrified like hell. Don’t know what to do, how to proceed, and plus I am on visa here. My issue was the 2 years it took to finish my case. Every month for almost 2 years they would postpone my court dates. I could have been done with my sentencing by now if they would have just got it done. Now I am just beginning. I'm happy to have it over and finally move in with my life in a positive way. Never met the guy in person. All of my court appearances had last minute lawyers show up who had no idea about my case and told me to call Mr. Anelli for details and answer questions. For my DMV hearing, no one showed up to represent me and I was given the wrong time for my appearance. I paid his firm up front for services, which were literally double of every other lawyer I spoke to, but hey, he's the DWI GUY, so he specializes in this type of law....

Anytime I spoke to Mr. Anelli, it was last minute the night before an appearance or I was calling to confirm someone would be there on my drive morning of from southern Orange County, NY to Albany for court. I didn't once feel "my lawyer" had by back throughout the experience.

My outcome was less than desirable. I lost my license for 20 months and spent thousands of dollars in fines and fees. I got no explanation after my final appearance of what just happened when I was sentenced. The fill-in lawyer that showed up late couldn't get out of court fast enough and left me with a ton of questions and NO answers. I got a super brief phone call follow with Mr. Anelli and that was it. (BTW, I had to call him)

These are straight facts from my account with Mr. Anelli. In my opinion, save your money and go with anyone else. At least you might actually meet your lawyer in return for you hard earned bread.

DO NOT USE THIS FIRM! 1 star isn’t low enough to describe the negligence and borderline malpractice I experienced with Tom Anelli Law Associates for minor traffic violations. From day one, the team was unprofessional, unresponsive, and refused to answer my questions. After unanswered calls and emails about a ticket, I learned my contact, a paralegal, no longer worked there and that the Tom Anelli team incorrectly closed my case! This caused a tremendous headache for over a year.

What I experienced for a second ticket was even worse. After little to no communication about the ticket, I received a call from the county court. The court told me they hadn’t received proper and timely communication from my legal team, and that because of that, my license was going to be suspended! In admitting their wrong doing, Tom Anelli fronted the bill to get me out of suspension. But still, I received little communication and no real apology.

After almost a year since I initially received that ticket and multiple calls and emails asking about the outcome, the Tom Annelli team only sent me a letter in the mail with the deal- which wasn’t too impressive.

All I wanted was a legal team that answered my questions and put me at ease, not one that caused additional headaches and that made me feel like I wasn’t important. I would NEVER recommend this firm to anyone. I felt so compelled to post this in the hopes that no one will experience what I did. If they had made me pay for the suspension lift I would have sued Tom Anelli for malpractice!!! Never use them.

HJ was always available to speak with me throughout the terrifying experience, keeping me up to date and reassuring me that he was utilizing all of his extensive experience seeking a positive outcome. Additionally, Faith did an excellent job giving me advice throughout the process, but made it a point to provide much needed emotional support. Mr. Anelli's office rose above my expectations, meeting needs that I had not even anticipated. Though I hope nobody finds themselves in a situation like mine, I would absolutely recommend this firm to represent you to ensure the best possible outcome.
