Excellent attorney. He helped me immensely and went above and beyond in representing my interests to ensure a favorable outcome on my case.

Leaving Blank

Tabby runs the intake office. I called on the 16th, a week ago to the day, to have my 1983 case reviewed by Keach and to have a simple question about police retention policy answered. VERY STRAIGHTFORWARD.

I gave my number, provided details about the case, was promised a callback that afternoon.

No callback.

Called back today at about 1:30. Spoke to Tabby again. Before I lay into them, understand I've dealt with dozens of law firms before, and have filed on behalf of myself pro-se. I know what I'm talking about.

Tabby, as a representative for Mr. Keach, is so unprepared, unprofessional, obnoxious, and condescending that it is a wonder any business gets conducted.

She admitted that Keach tends to go AWOL and that he is difficult to get a hold of. That he wasn't even in the office the day I was assured a callback (nor is he in today). How exactly are victims in need of representation supposed to rely on a lawyer who is constantly unavailable? That's preposterous and a huge red flag.

She did what all women professionals do when their own ineptitude is organically and calmly apprised - she backed into a corner, became defensive, constantly interrupted, and tried to somehow undercut me, the male, with ludicrous statements like "Please stop yelling." Unfortunately for that female I recorded the call; even listened to it. There was no yelling, and I made her aware of it at the time to boot. No, lady, sometimes you're just wrong. The adult thing to do would have been to apologize for your inability to do your job, and to promise to reconcile it immediately.

Did she do that? NO. What she did is stand on her little podium and begin saying contentious things like, "I'm trying to help YOU." Emphasis on the "you," as if she was doing some charitable thing for a potential client, rather than engaging in BUSINESS.

She also said this:
"Bob is EXTREMELY busy, he's just overwhelmed." (So am I, I retorted, thinking to myself why is my time as a client not valued equally?)

"Maybe sometimes he can't give a call to you that very same day" (I waited a week I calmly retorted and had been promised a call that afternoon).

"But things COME UP. It does happen that things come up. So then, so say he does take your case, right? If we plan on calling you...say we wanna call you today and he can't call you (Huh? What in the world is this lady even talking about I'm wondering?) Are you gonna call and yell at me like you are right now?"

And that was the coup de grace. LOL. She backtracked when I explained that she was using a classic bromide like that to hide the fact that she was wrong. She doesn't have the decency to apologize, or even do her job adequately, so she attacks me randomly without cause. Idiot.

Stay the hell away from this law firm. If the secretary is easily flustered, rude, unprofessional, scatter-brained, and doesn't even register your case correctly, that's a massive red flag. My potential business wasn't valued AT ALL. Yours probably won't be either.

It's simple. Find a firm that actually cares about your case. PERIOD.
