Unbelievable experience working with this firm. I can't say enough good about the attorney's that helped me with my grandparents and getting them all set with long term care planning. You get what you pay for and I couldn't be happier. Thanks guys!

My father had recently been diagnosed with Alzheimer's and was living in a very bad situation when I contacted Pierro, Connor & Strauss for legal guidance. I told them it was very much an emergency and I needed their help right away- this was a Monday and they scheduled me for a Friday.
I waited all week for the meeting, terrified about what might be happening to my father, who lives 4 1/2 hours away and had several other factors that could possibly endanger him.
The night before the meeting, I discovered an e-mail from a paralegal in the attorneys' office explaining that none of their people handled cases in my dad's county. While this is completely understandable, the office waited an entire four days after telling me that, yes, they could help me only to drop me without so much as a phone call. I discovered the e-mail after business hours so I couldn't even call another attorney to try and get an appointment for the same week. I now have to wait and hope for an entire weekend that nothing is happening to my father.

Lou Pierro came up with a very creative way to protect my mother's estate. He freely gave of his time and was clear and caring. My mother died before we needed to implement his plan. Afterwards, the New York Department of Health found my mother's former residence in violation of two codes. Although Lou would not benefit from helping us, he directed us to attorneys who could.

Paid $5000 for a Medicaid application. The work was competent but not timely. It took over a year to complete the process. Communication was slow, with emails and phone calls, many times, being ignored. In the end we were approved for Medicaid but the process was very slow and frustrating. Definitely made us feel very low on their list of priorities.
In response to the owners comment below and their generic reply. Unreturned telephone calls and emails along with long periods without updates or progress being made hardly qualifies as pushing the process forward. Taking their own sweet time would, perhaps, be a better description of their efforts.
