Do not hire this firm. Do not hire them specifically for father's rights, or because of their ads about assisting men, men in the military, or any upper hand you believe you will receive from their advertising. Which, I may add, is everywhere. I sought them out for the purpose they advertise, dad's help. I was promised my best interests would be regarded, and told I had a bullet proof case. Piles and piles of evidence, with expert evaluation and testimony by the expert. I could have hired a 3 year old and received better results. As a man, in a divorce, expect to spend money anywhere you go. As much as they charged to lose my case, they should be embarrassed. The attorney I had was out looking for a new job and never informed me. She was gone after being notified my case was lost. Not one phone call. She was not prepared for trial, I was not able to change attorneys. Get references, and hire someone that listens to you and has a good record.

My brother used their service. They advertise they're for the man.. when in fact he has a hefty bill and no better results than when he started. Its ashame there's no accountability to take money and not get results. My brother still doesnt see his kids and is a great man. Don't bother wasting your money with this attorney. Is woman attorney is laid back and not a go getter when u need that.

Very professional law practice with true focus on men/fathers entering into the daunting world of divorce. Openness to hear the client's story, depth of understanding the laws, Creative in finding solutions while balancing risks. This was never a service that I was planning on using in my lifetime. I appreciated having Cordell and Cordell by my side.

If I could give this firm 0 stars i would. 100k spent in fees, triple billing (2 attorneys and a paralegal all reading the same email and CHARGING you 3 times!) with the absolute worst outcome possible. If you are looking for representation, definitely look elsewhere.

Cordell and Cordell is a billing factory. They are the walmart of legal firms. They have absolutely 0 interest in your case. Half of the time I had to come up with strategies on my own, and suggest them to my "attorney" for a good outcome.

Please, for your sanity, and your bank account, go anywhere else.

The legal team at the Cordell & Cordell Albany office is nothing short of amazing. They are professional, experienced, honest and dedicated just for starters. They are the people you can trust when your whole world is crumbling around you and your family has become a battleground. When you have no where else to turn and no more solutions to try, you need the help of the Cordell team. I am very thankful for how they took care of more than just the legal case, but coached me on how to survive as a man and father. I would have been better off lighting 6k on fire honestly I would have, we never got on the same page they always wanted to do what was good for them for future negotiations in court and never listened to a word from me, every conversation was a rehash of the last conversation and I was never allowed to finish my points. I would go in to court with them feeling as if I had to fight my lawyer the law Gaurdian and her lawyer.

Literally the worst. Don't be fooled by the radio commercials. Using them until I switched to a real attorney was a huge mistake. You get stuck with a junior lawyer who is useless, and they "consult" a lot with a senior lawyer (who talks the talk but is also useless) so they bill you for both of the lawyers at the same time. That makes the real per hour rate higher than good attorneys. They stall and communicate poorly and don't get results. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

The ad I just heard on the radio for this firm was REVOLTING.

My fiance has been working with them for a few months now. We have paid a ridiculous amount of money with nothing to show for it. They overcharge and have TERRIBLE communication. He has been trying to get a hold of his lawyer for over a week now and never got a call back! As of today he missed a court date that he was not informed about. The lawyer was at court which means he has to pay them for that time even though they did not talk to him about this date as there were dates after he knew about, just not this one. Now he has missed this hearing. They FINALLY called him back AFTER already missing court!!!! Beyond pissed off with this firm. We will be looking into another firm to use for the remainder of this custody battle. And also looking into a possible suit for malpractice. Complete waste of money, you're better off finding somewhere else.
