Called 800 first on hold for over 40 minutes got to be number 1 in line then phone just rang and rang until party is unavailable. Call Saratoga office was told intake is at 9am Monday thur Friday tried to explain what happened woman became nasty and wouldn't listen nothing she could do calls are placed in a "q" answered accordingly.

So I called Legal Aid in Saratoga Springs in an attempt to file a grievance. Not only was the receptionist "Kris" one of the rudest people I have ever spoken to in my entire life, she offered no help at all. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was hung up on multiple times, with no attempt to listen to my reason for calling or anything. I found this to be unprofessional and a disgusting representation of the organization, and if that is a reflection of how you treat clients then she should consider another profession.

First the attitude on the phone initially when I called today was unprofessional seriously unnecessary. Very poor communication on their part as to the process and why specifically you have to call at 9 am in the morning and no later in the day to go through the intake process. Had the lady actually taken the time to ask some questions when I first had called she wouldn't have waisted my valuable time. So basically I waisted a week calling this place going back and forth for nothing because they don't know how to efficiently and effectively handle the phone calls as they come in. Some basic common sense goes a long. BUT I know everyone is so so busy that they can't do the job they were hired to do effectively. No one likes excuses just take responsibility find solutions and do what's right by your potential clients​. Such a waist of time!
