I called the office of Sheldon Davis Wells & Hoc. to obtain a divorce lawyer. Only to be told by JR that my spouses lawyer, Silas Little, had immorrally contacted JR. Davis BEFORE I met with him and apparently created a playing field. I was then questioned for 2 n 1/2 hours under the premise that JR would give me some guidance and accept me as a client. Instead JR dismissed me, told me to provide more paperwork, to include what I wanted out of the divorce. He informed me that after 41 years together, 39 married, 2 careers that took myself and our family all over the United States as well as left me in charge of the household and 4 growing children and many pets, I was not worthy of alimony. He also informed me that he had not yet made a decision whether or not he would represent me and said that I needed to get him the rest of the paperwork and cash $600.00 1st. He promised to call the following Monday. JR still hasn't answered me. I have been waiting for a return call for 1 week. I called JR 3 times and was promised he would return my call shortly. To say the least this has been an expensive and unprofessional experience. The Firm seems to be looking out for the best interest of my spouse which violated Rule 1.7. I would NOT recommend this law firm to anyone.
