I swear those reviews on Avvo are made up! The review below is 100% accurate. This lawyer is unresponsive & I got screwed in my divorce. On the day of court my lawyers assistant took over & my very expensive lawyer took off for another case (although I got a bill for a full day for both of them).. my ex husbands attorney made “changes” to our agreement & when I read it I panicked because we were going before the judge in 5 min! I told the assistant I didn’t want to sign that & asked where Mandy was. She told me I HAD to sign it & that Mandy was with another client. When you are suddenly faced with divorce (and I mean suddenly) you don’t have the mentality to think things through. Two things I regret every day of my life are making that phone call to this office & signing that agreement.

Don't waste your time contacting this attorney, she is totally unresponsive and doesn't even give people the respect to return calls or emails. She puts forth her "USAF law enforcement training" And, being from a USAF family myself, I have never seen such a shockingly poor etiquette in the US military! Imagine the damages that such an unresponsive lawyer can do to your case and ask yourself if you want to take the slightest chance with your family case... You like your kids, your house, you hard earned money, right? Stay at bay from this kind of unprofessional, entitled people: If they don't respect you, they don't give a damn about your case.

I agree with some of the past comments about how these five star ratings have to be made up. This lawyer is the absolute worst lawyer anyone could put their time, trust or money into. She’ll give you the impression she cares about your case until she takes your money and then you will never hear from her again. She actually goes days and sometimes weeks before she responds to your concerns and when she does it’s with terse answers. I spent a whole week in preparing data to be presented to the judge and I only found out months later that she never bothered to submit it. When the day came to stand in front of the judge she didn’t even show up but instead sent one of her associates who had never met me before amd showed up with nothing in her hands regarding my case. Do yourself a favor, run, don’t walk away from Mandy Hebert.
