Girl working at front office is very unfriendly and acts kinda snotty with each question. She was also on a personal call with someone and laughing, too bad she can't smile when talking to people that come in.

One of the rudest staff employees I have ever encountered in my many years of working with and for nonprofit organizations. It seems like they hire these kinds of women intentionally at this point, purely because they're bilingual or grossly agenda-driven. This woman was messing around on her computer and talking on the phone with personal acquaintances which was audible to clients in the waiting room, extremely disturbing, eating at her desk, while the other one took out a mirror and was actually picking at her pimples, visible from the waiting room as well, while the other raged on to her about personal issues. Really, what are they allowed to be doing behind those computer screens? What has it to do with a paycheck? Although I was fourth in line, I was shuffled to the bottom of the list, having to plug the parking meter many times, risking losing my place each. Is this some kind of a scam going on with the city? I never should have been there in the first place because three different times I talked to them over the phone and let them know what I needed and they told me it would be a covered subject matter which it ended up not being after three hours of waiting under fluorescent lights with a vestibular condition. No one bothered to tell me they had changed their address, where I waited 45 minutes last week in the freezing rain in front of locked, metal gates with a sign posted only in Spanish. In case it's important for you to know, this agency has ties to city government and one suspicious County employee who appears to have spring-boarded from there into their present, lofty position @APS/SR&Disabled, and I'm not at all comfortable with the non-disclosure. How confidential is the info. we provide? Although I was helped there some years ago by a kindly and seasoned veteran attorney doing pro bono work, this was not my experience this waste of my time only seeing an fomer city-employed "intern"(gatekeeper?), 'tho she was pleasant enough once I finally was seen.
The lawyer, cyndie Haines, only goes by her opinon of you and doesn't a actually care about the person she's supposed to represent. She is unethical and is incompetent. She claimed that since this was a free service she only had to do the bare minimum. I would try to look for a different lawyer if you could. They made me feel that since I can't afford another lawyer I should put up with the incompetence and bare minimum.

I am currently unhoused man looking for an attorney to help in litigation and to help in setting up of a nonprofit which would benifit homeless and the community as a whole. I was informed they don't get involved at all. Makes me wonder who shut them down

Unhelpful from beginning to end. They will force you to meet with an “advocate” who has no real interest in helping and you won’t get past her if you want legal assistance. Waste of time. Again, unhelpful.

Talk to the woman they call Connie and received two ridiculously useless pieces of paper in the mail that were very poorly ccopied off the internet. I commend her for being a volunteer but as far as helping someone, forget it. She wouldn't even let us tell her what the case was about, she just interrupted us every time we tried to tell her what the case was about. L A M E.

No help at all. Been twice and they couldn't help at all. They say landlord/tenant help but after being there for 2 hours, I was told that they couldn't help with our situation with our landlord. Not sure what they are being paid to do. My husband watched a young lady and her baby leave in tears because they were turned away.. I only gave one star because I had to..

After waiting over an hour seems they cannot advise me on any of my legal issues. Very limited as to what they are going to do. This legal aid really needs an upgrade
