I thought Michael Cooper was easy to talk with, not at all intimidating so your able to ask questions and concerns about your case. The one thing that struck me as odd with him as an attorney, is he didn’t tell me or didn’t seem to know about Oregon 20.080. Being in the profession for so long you’d think that would be something he would disclose to individuals trying to settle with an insurance company wither he wanted to represent them or not.
Michael told me to just ask the adjuster for a reasonable settlement. If I would have listened to Michael, I definitely would have been lowballed. My goal in writing this review, is to inform other people seeking legal representation/advice to get a second opinion. Someone who believes in your case, and if they can’t help you,(like in my case with Michael Cooper) don’t let them make you feel you should just settle with what ever the insurance company is welling to give you.
