Don't understand all the negative reviews... been working with these guys for a few months now.. We set up an awesome payment plan and I pay on time even before the due date every month. The rep I spoke with was very nice & helpful. I was a nervous wreck calling them after reading all these reviews but, my experience was actually the complete opposite.

This place called my place of work. I called back they said i owed money to a credit card funny thing was is i have that credit card that i just opened this year. Called my credit card they told me they had no history of a card being opened in 2013 which is what this company was trying to say. They are scammers!!!! They should be shut down

After 7 years supposed to clear the debt. I live on $1000 per month. They don't identify themselves on the phone. I hung up. Never heard such blow hards!

I would give zero stars if possible! Put a judgement on me for a debt that wasn't mine, and it's going to be a bear to fight this.

Wish I could give 0 stars. Worst debt collectors on the PLANET!! They take EVERYTHING from you and STILL expect more. People have to have transportation to get to work and they took every penny from my car insurance proceeds after my car was hit. Now I have no car to get to work to make money to pay them. They have NO Customer Service skills and NO human compassion and all their minion underlings are just as bad. If they buy your debt, either pay them quickly or close your banks and leave the country. Otherwise they WILL hound you and take everything you have, leaving an empty hole inside you where your comfort and security use to be.

Ridicuous. I made an agreement to pay on an old debt, which i had been informed not to do because the original company had written it off and had gotten a tax deduction from it so it shouldnt even be valid anymore, i just wanted these people to stop bugging me. Then I found out that it was still showing up on my credit and nothing was going away. I think its a scam so they can take me to court because i wont be paying anymore.

Use to work here. respect given to only 1 person who’s positive management/training. this is not a fun environment to work for. you will walk on egg shells. stuck up management that will condescend you when u ask questions. Not a warm welcoming environment as an employee. You will sit in a corner for a few days hoping no one forgot you. Training started off poor with lack of communication on multiple things including breaks. Pay sucks, benefits sucked.

SCAM ALERT: They're running a scam using your old debts to trick you into giving them your credit card number. They've called me several times using an old debt I paid off years ago. lol

These people are TERRIBLE TERRIBLE NON-CARING PEOPLE! They are trying to tell me that I owe for an old acct that I know for sure was taken care of over a year ago! I am old and live on social security disability which barely pays my monthly bills & utilities. They said they are going to sue me and TAKE the money from me. I Will Lose my Home if this happens! I guess them making money off of the poor & old is more important than someone's Home.

I actually was the one who contacted them to resolve an old debt but when I became unemployed, I notified them of this thinking it would give me time to at least start unemployment and instead of working with me or giving me any viable options they decided to sue me instead. Scum, absolute scum.

They are pretty much evil. There is a special, hot place for the people that are part of this organization.

These people are pathetic- they have stated and sent court documents that my husband owed $6500 for a CITIBANK credit card- which he has never had! We have even verified that his SSN has never been associated with an account through them! We sent TWO certified letters disputing the allegations and left over 3 messages and never once got a response! We now have received papers stating they were going to garnish his wages! This company is just hounding people for their money! Don’t you have ANYTHING better to do? YOU GUYS AGAIN, ARE THE SCUM ON MY SHOES!

They called my wife about an old credit card debt. They had a ton of fees tacked on but Cody was able to get them removed. I saved a few hundred bucks. Was a very pleasant person to talk to. Most of these places call you a hundred times a day and are very rude. I hope to never deal with them again but if you do just be happy it’s not some other shark searching for you.

These fools sent a letter to my work to garnish my wages..with the wrong spelling of my last name and wrong ss# and demanded that the paper work had to be filled out and returned stating it’s not me!! They were so rude and unprofessional that is was actually pathetic!!

Terrible experience all around with my garnishment.. Just glad its over. Still waiting for the last check back from them because they took too much for a month after the garnishment was paid off.

I don’t quite get the negative reviews. I borrowed money. My life fell apart. He came after me. TWICE. I owe the money!!!! Why shouldn’t someone WANT their money back? So he bought out my debt from someone else... We OWE IT. We BORROWED IT. If we don’t pay it back it is as good as money stolen in my eyes. He served me. They contacted me BEFORE garnishing my wages AND agreed to a payment I can manage - unlike the original company who bought the debt!

I contacted the attorney general's office. I am sueing them for harassment. This has been going on for 3 years. I sent them certified copies of the FDCPA (section 805 B) and they still continue to harass me.

Awful company. They are withholding documents I requested and upon making my payment in full and was told I would not receive a receipt for upto 24 hours. I also requested all court documents and I was told we will see what we can do. Doesn't seem legal the way this company operates I hope they are looked into by someone with the power to make them act in accordance with the laws

I was called by a guy for what I'm assuming was to be a phone interview. I've been applying rapidly because it's important I find a job soon. (Indeed makes it easy to do that). So when he called and told me the company I couldn't remember off the top of my head what position I applied for. So I asked and he just repeated the company name. I asked if it was for front desk receptionist and apologized that I had been applying for a lot of jobs. He quickly got a rude attitude with me and said no that it was for debt collection. Told me "thanks for your time and have a good one." He was VERY short with me and didn't even give me a chance to talk or to explain myself whatsoever. It made me feel badly. So I tried calling back INSTANTLY and he was conveniently in a phone call and had his assistant or whatever get my name to call me back. Seems like a company I wouldn't want to work for anyways so I am glad the interview didn't workout.

Apparently they "served" my family in WA with a "summons." Family told them I was out of state, (KY at the moment actually), server said "he could deal with it, last name is the same." Supposedly the guy never asked nor did he want to see ID .

I don't have a physical address and stay in company paid hotels as an advisor. I travel 8+ months out of the year and when I do visit acquaintances, I either stay with them OR in a hotel. Having to pay alimony and child support to the tune of over 1/2 my paycheck has not allowed me to indulge in the finer things in life, like a home...

If these people call you, they may misinterpret who they are representing. They are very likely not representing the original debtor, but someone that has bough toxic asset. Don’t pay them. Do your homework. These people awe crooks with a law degree.

Got assigned a new number by carrier. These people won't stop calling me when I informed them they have the wrong number. So even when you don't have debt they're trying to harass you for, they'll continue to demand that you pay them.

Most unprofessional and rude law firm. Their ONLY means of taking a settlement via their website doesn't always work. So if you make a payment, make sure it goes through or they will end up charging you more than the agreed upon terms. VERY DISTRUSTFUL Law Firm. They don't even deserve the one star!

Filed an out of state lawsuit

These vultures just want to nab you when not looking so they can hit you with a default judgement. If it was not for a phone call about some "guy" at the door with a manilla envelope looking for me at my parent's house for a five year old credit card; I would have missed rent and other bills from bank liens. You have to be careful becuase these jerks sue for even very small debts around $1,000. You should fight them till they run out of patience and move on to the easy fish.

No stars is not an option. They have gotten into my checking account 6 times, I called trying to figure how the can garnish my bank account, what debt they are collecting?
The account they say its for, hasn't been touched in 12 years.

I asked " why would you buy debt that is over a decade old and past the statue of limitations?"
He said, "we don't buy debt, we lease it."

Each lawyer can take your money 1 time. They hire a new lawyer every 3 months so they can garnish all the accounts again.

Way to use that education to find a loop hole, so you can take money from a single mom who works her ass off. I love going to the grocery store with my 6 year old, on payday and my debit card doesn't work.

Embarrassing, and explaining why we couldn't buy groceries the whole way home was a treat. Thanks lawyers, hope you feel like your making the world a better place.

These people are predatory debt collectors who go after the poor and working class people, often damaging their credit and making it very difficult to pay rent or eat. You could never meet worse examples of legal professionals, damaging the honor of the legal profession.
