Cary Goldstein and Terry Nulls were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and patient with me during my divorce and custody of my children.

Cary did a wonderful job for my son Steven. He always responded to all messages. Thank you Cary for caring about his problems and offering great support.

They charge right off the bat just to find out if you even have a case. Just another scummy lawyer looking to bank off the unfortunate men.

NOT HAPPY! Dan charged for every email, text and second of my time but left most of the work up to me. Little in the way of strategy or advice for me in my first divorce. Minimum charge seems to be 0.1 hours (6 minutes) even for texts and emails. Poor communication. Even after I talked to the Customer Care people, I got no response from Dan about his apparent lack of empathy or advice - questions and concerns went unanswered or ignored. I assumed he didn't want my business any more. Maybe my contentious divorce case was going to be too difficult. Find another attorney. I did.

Cary went above and beyond every time from February, to October 2019. I can not thank him enough! I noticed some terrible reviews on google and I can say that I do not share the same thoughts as these folks. I never had an issue and I would recommend them and use them again if ever needed! Cary G. was in constant contact with me and let me know immediately every time something needed changed or signed.

How can you trust an attorney who can't get to appointments on time? When I got to the office early the receptionist with horrible customer service skills told me Cary was 10-15 behind. 20 minutes later aftery appointment time there was no Cary. I called and he said he was a "couple blocks away" . He never showed up. These attorneys are terrible. Receptionist has a horrible attitude.

Stay away from this law firm! I had two separate lawyers through them. The first did the bare minimum to get by and the second almost got me a warrant when he didn't even bother to show up for my court date or file a single document. And then when I fired him and got new counsel they still tried keeping my retainer by refusing me a refund, three months and many phone calls and emails later I've gotten barely half the money I'm owed and they have been giving me the run around the entire time. I will tell every father I know that's going through court to avoid this firm

These are the worst attorneys ever. My brother hired them to fight for him during a terrible divorce. His soon to be ex-wife hired a brutal lady attorney and he ended up with a lady judge of course. All Cordell and Cordell want is money. They do not care about their clients. The attorney had no balls to stand up for my brother. He is basically going to lose everything he has worked for and may not even get joint custody of his children. I highly, highly recommend looking elsewhere for a real attorney/lawyer. I would give them zero stars if that was an option. Don't waste your time and money with these clowns.

In January 2016, I scheduled an appointment with Dan regarding changing the current child custody order that was in place regarding my son, Bentley, and his mother. We (being Troy, Brittany, & myself) discussed how the current order was not only poorly written but also problematic to both parties and the child. For instance, there were no specific pick up or drop off times stated and it left a lot of confusion and misinterpretation. I was hoping that he could help me clear the confusion and find a more equitable solution for both me and Bentley’s mother. I told Dan I would like to modify the order in the following ways:

• 50/50 custody with my son, one week on and one week off.
• Forgive all contempt’s that I have against her, and her against me so we can restart this co-parenting and make it a positive environment for our son.
• Revise child support (as I was going through bankruptcy and my son’s mother’s income went up from 24k-36k)

The actual results were completely different:
• Less frequent child visits
• Increased child support
• 2 days of jail time
• 1 year probation
• Publicly humiliated by the judge, who told the court that I have zero credibility, only care about myself and my needs, and that my fiancé and her family are not my son’s family and shouldn’t try to be.
• Terrible precedent for future proceedings
• Additional attorney fees and more court
• If mother files any contempt’s within year of probation I get automatic 15 days in jail, plus whatever the judge decides
• The judge’s parting message to me was “You have zero credibility,” and “you are lucky your son’s mother allows you to spend time with him,” and “your son is better off in day care than in your custody.”
• Criminal record

Dan’s wreckless counsel, carelessness judgements, and gross negligence made in my behalf resulted in 25 contempt charges which landed me in jail for 2 days, a year of probation, $3,000 in fees to opposing council, and a precedence for future hearings. I feel Dan did not advocate for me, nor advise me well. He was ill prepared in his intelligent devotion to excellence and seemed to lack passion for me and my case.

All I wanted was a more equitable situation for me and my son. I was not trying to be malicious or mean. I am worse off now than when I hired Dan and the firm of Cordell & Cordell to represent me. A bad situation was made even worse with even more debt and legal expenses to come.

I do not feel I received “passionate and intelligent devotion to excellence.” as there website states Mr. Lipsitz was not devoted to my case, my suggestions, or any form of service or excellence. Because of my relationship with Mr. Lipsitz and Cordell & Cordell I am worse off than when I started, in every conceivable way.

Would strongly recommend NOT using this firm and would NEVER recommend it to anyone fighting for there fathers rights!

Helped with a difficult custody battle. Extremely helpful and really good about getting in touch quickly even at odd hours, which I've found is rare with lawyers.

My experience with Cordell and Cordell has been excellent! My attorney Dan Lipsitz did a great job of keeping me well-informed and up-to-date on my case without spending too much time with me and costing me a ton of money. He was able to bring my case to a conclusion in a timely fashion which I greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is needing help going through a divorce, or just in need sound advice.

Very positive experience... alittle expensive but this was my second lawyer that I had for my kids. I had Daniel as my lawyer and he was great he answered all my questions I had his cell phone number so I could get a hold of him anytime through text or call. I also had his email and we did all our paperwork through email which was faster then the mail considering I could get paperwork signed and back to him the same day he would send it out... he didn't promise anything too high and everything I was asking for he came up with a good plan to get me what I needed for my kids and I just loved that fact that he knew I really couldn't afford him so whenever we would talk he would keep it very short and simple as we could so I didn't have to spend a ton of money... I would definitely go back to Daniel after what he got me and I wouldn't of settled on the scheduling that I did if my funds didn't run out due to some family stuff that was going on... my only complaint would be that he said he was going to get me a refund of the money that was left in the account, but it got put back into the credit card of my deceased relative instead of coming to me like he said it would...

Their commercials are the only good thing about Cordell and Cordell. Their commercials lie. They say they Truly care about their clients, that is false, they truly care about money. My attorney pulled the if you sign within the next hour I'll drop my rate bullcrap. He dropped his rate to $285 an hour. I saw that red flag but I was desperate for an attorney fast. He never did one bit of work for the 3 months I hired him. He Never sent discovery for the opposing party to answer. He was hoping for a settlement threw mediation. When that didn't happen he told me the case would be at least $15,000. The initial conversation I asked him worst case scenario and he said $7,000-9,000... HE LIED. Every time we had a court hearing he would race out of there and never answer my questions fully. He said he would return my calls or texts everyday before 5:00 p.m. And he rarely did that. He let admissions go past 30 days so I automatically admitted to them. He asked me for information multiple times which meant he never read my emails that had that information on it... but he sure did charge me to send those emails... my son means everything to me and these guys sabotaged my case. They DO NOT care about you, they only want $$$$$
