My husband and I were referred to Sandra L. Clapp & Associates back in 2007 by one of Boise's top financial advisers to assist us with our estate planning. With her friendly and knowledgeable help, we were able to update and improve our wills and establish a living trust.
Since then, Sandra has been most diligent in keeping our wills and trust regularly updated to be in compliance with changes in state and federal laws and regulations.
Recently, when I was appointed executor of my mother's estate, Sandra was an immense help in guiding me through the entire process. She was truly a friend in my time of need.
We consider our decision to engage and retain Sandra as our estate planning attorney to be one of the wisest things we have done. And as an added bonus, she is a warm and caring person who is an absolute delight to work with!

Knowledge really is power! Sandra Clapp and associates represented my families estate in court and her professionalism and skills dominated the other side saving us thousands. My champions! My A team! If you have money at stake, you definitely want Sandra Clapp on your side.
Do not go to Sandra Clapp to have your estate planning done. She is not interested in providing you with a service, only in trapping you into paying her for work never done. I visited her in June of 2013 for what I was told would be a free consultation, we spoke about my estate and had a preliminary conversation. She quoted my around $2300 for ever her services and I told her that my wife and I were going on vacation within the next couple days and we would decide how to move forward at that point. While I was on vacation my brother told me of an attorney right down the street that would do the same thing for $900. I went with the other attorney. Within the next month I had a contract sent to me by Sandra Clapp asking me to sign where I would agree to pay her $2300. I threw the contract out and I had the work completed by the other attorney. Clapp then sent me a bill for $2300 with I disputed because I never had her do the work. Well, then in January of 2014 I got a notice form a collection agency demanding payment. When I called Clapp's office to explain that I never had the work done and threw the contract out unsigned I was tod that "it said in the terms of the contract that it was valid regardless of whether or not I signed it". Don't let yourself get tricked by an attorney who is more into tricks to get people to pay than in actually providing a service.
