I will never use James Shinault again, nor will I recommend him. He over-charges, and he acts like a jerk about it. It cost me over $3,000 for a cut and dry custody case where we were both in agreement. It was totally uncontested, and requested by both parties. All he had to do was put his name on the papers. Everything was "copy and paste, fill in the names, print, and sign". I had used a lawyer in the same building for a car accident case, in which I got a settlement. He, of course, knew I had gotten the settlement, so he had no guilt charging me too much.
I understand being money-hungry, we all are, but don't be a weasel.
