I worked with Chris Carpenter on my Social Security Disability appeals. I found him to be very professional and also frank about the difficulties in succeeding on my appeal. My impression was that building a stronger case through the doctor appointments he was advocating was secondary to him; like he'd rather I got better and no longer qualified as disabled than just building a case.

I worked with Chris and Marnie on a SS disability claim. I went through three denials of appeal and decided I needed to get some legal advice. I soon realized that there was so much more to appealing a claim than just writing down your story. They were so professional and caring. They knew the steps to take to attain the information they needed in getting records of all my surgeries. This allowed the judge to see what all was done and what kind of disabilities I was living with and reoccurring surgeries that could happen in the future. They were so thorough with obtaining information and I feel that without their legal expertise I would not have won the case.

Mr. Carpenter was very rude to me and accused me of lieing. It was fine if he didnt want to take my case but he didnt have to be so rude. I called a different lawyer 5 minutes after my phone call with Mr.Carpenter who was nicer and took my case.

Jennifer was my attorney for several legal issues. She is in my opinion the reason attorneys get a bad name; she did the very least she could do and get paid. I’m not unreasonable. (At the time I probably expected to get a lot more out of my divorce), but looking back at it now and I can clearly see I was robbed by my ex wife and her average lawyer because my incompetent lawyer did nothing to assist me. I could go on and detail everything she “failed” to do, but instead I’ll just highlight the most glaring failure. In my divorce I was hoping for joint custody (50/50); now obviously that wasn’t going to happen, but along with getting my ex the max child support it is also written that if my wife doesn’t have a job (which of course she hasn’t now for 2 years) I have to pay for my child’s insurance (100% of it) along with 50% of the out of pocket… I have since revisited an attorney about lowering my child support and other divorce decree’s and they actually laughed at the ethics involved and actually asked if I had legal representation on the original matter.
