I never ever thought I would be writing a bad review but I feel I need to, so other people know how my family was treated in the event they were looking for an attorney. We dealt with Bill Woodrow. He was not professional and was very unkind. He did not respond to any questions until after I left a message saying how unprofessional it was to not even acknowledge he received my email or call. When he sent out the inventory list, he stated to either call him or email if we had questions. When we did, he emailed all of us reminding us of his $200 an hour charge and said if we disputed what our executor put down, which was wrong, to get a mediator, which he mentioned would also cost us money. We all just signed his paperwork because we knew he wasn’t going to check on anything we disputed. He charged over double what we were quoted. He basically received almost as much as each sibling. I was so disappointed. And I would never refer anyone to this man.

Woodrow wouldn't be a choice at all. When I went to see him for a probate matter, he threw me completely off guard hitting me with question after question then ending the "free consult" before I could ask him anything. Attorneys work for US, not the other way around. If any Attorney doesn't answer your questions at the consult, LEAVE. Before signing anything hiring them ask how their office takes messages and if the Attorney will let you know in advance when they'll be out of the office; what days they like to take off early, etc; if they allow texts; and if you'll get a running statement of expenses for all cases over $1000.00, which they're supposed to do, but often get away with not doing.
