I have used Dick in many cases, He knows the law!!! Sometimes you may not like what he has to say, but he will tell you the truth. He will not sugar coat your personal situation. I highly recommend his services. He may seem hard, but it is in your best interest, he does this to help you if you have to go to court you will be ready for what ever hits you.

I had the same experience as the other 2 real reviews listed for this firm. I was asked a question by Richard Handlon, and when I tried to answer, he interrupted me, told me that my answer was wrong, and when I tried to explain that in order to understand everything that had lead to this point in time, I needed to explain this. I started again, and was again interrupted, and talked down to. After about 3 minutes of this unprofessional behavior, I sat in silence because everything I tried to say was interrupted. Eventually he, literally, threw my papers that I had given him to review back at me and told me in a loud and extremely condescending tone "Goodbye".

I was referred to him directly by his wife, I thought maybe he would show a little respect because of that, but I was wrong. Don't waste your time here.

They are liars and thief’s, very dishonest people. All they do is scam people!!

Divorce can be an emotionally toxic event. I am not an easy person to keep focused on the facts and wanted to get lost in the dolor. Richard was able to keep me focused on what was import for the legal side that I do not understand. I would veer off on an emotional rant at times and while he did not sugar coat responses, they kept me focused on what mattered. He negotiated greatly and was a pleasure to work with. After my second meeting with him, I realized that I was asking the same questions, pushing the same emotionally irrelevant points, and he was gracious enough to entertain me with the same responses. Thank you for helping me in during that difficult time and thank you for everything you do.

I had a horrible situation a few years ago, reached out to him - all he did was belittle me, make idiotic false assumptions about why I was there, which made me feel even worse - and of course took my money. He forgets the client is the one who is paying for his services. Whether you think he wins or not, PLEASE spare yourself the trouble of encouraging this behavior in our community. He didn't win for me, I never gave him the opportunity after I was treated so badly. This is a small town and we reach out to each other for help, sad that I couldn't find it here. Look elsewhere.

This place is not good at all! You go in and sit with a man more interested with making money than the clients best interests. He asks for facts and Everytime you try and speak he stops you in mid sentence and tells you how your wrong and starts talking and asks you to tell him facts. So k started telling facts and he told me to not interrupt him, even though he asked me for facts so I let him continue to speak and yet again he asked me to tell him facts so I started again and yet again when I talk it's interrupting
He does not listen when he asks you to tell him facts or the client is always wrong he is very rude he yelled at me and told me that I was not good enough to have my daughter and at that point I walked out to find a better attorney.
