I gave this law firm 1 star because I had to in order to write a review. Whitson and Tansey Law Firm took my money and did not help me one bit. This law firm in a whole, yes both (William-Bill and Debra-Deb) are not to be trusted and do not represent what they have you to believe they will do for you. They are NOT on your side and will not fight or stand up for you even when they know and have supposedly handled similar situations “100’s” of times before. I believe they may be scared of the court house “Monster” even as lawyers under his vicious spell. They would rather drag out your case aka- take your $$$$ and nothing gets done or a case finalized. What a joke that they pretend to represent their clients. Will never recommend either one of them or their law firm to ANYONE.

Lack of communication is the biggest issue. I've left voicemails with no return calls. I've emailed and don't receive an update until I've become annoying yet receive a bill informing me that I have exhausted my $3500 retainer and now owe because they have billed for my emails... they gave my ex countless chances to respond to their requests, which he never met their time frames and here I am over a year later, still not divorced, and owing more money for what should've been done already. What happened to customer service or keeping your client informed? I shouldnt have to beg monthly for an update on the status of the divorce....
