Professional knowledgeable and fast response from attorney

I'm sure that normally Pine Tree Legal is wonderful to folks but I personally didn't have the greatest experience. I called into their menu tree about a civil concern regarding my landlord and my rights with paying for a habitable living space. The same woman who took my calls both times I called in for assistance was very apathetic and aggressive, not giving me much of a chance to speak and often spoke over me. To top it off the legal advice she gave me, she then later contradicted what she had said previously and said she would never get that advise to someone (to withhold rent). I have a sharp memory and was very put out by this and then to top it off, she didn't even advise me that if I just pay the owed amount it would negate the eviction notice I was given. This is a stressful time for me where my landlord is trying to get away with not having to fix code violations, even after we notified the city and had a code enforcement officer write up a report. I wish I had been greeted with more understanding, a listening ear and advice that was applicable to my situation, not just advice she tossed out at random without truly hearing my concerns.

I've had a really great experience with Pine Tree Legal. I've encountered a lot of debt scams the past several months. Intake has been very easy to get a hold of and they've been very informative. They helped me navigate through the scams and gave excellent advice. Also, Katie McGovern is absolutely wonderful, efficient, and really helpful. I highly recommend Pine Tree Legal, especially if you're going through a hard time financially. They might be low/no cost, but it certainly doesn't dictate their abilities as lawyers.

Wonderful helpful attorney during a very scary time

i live on social security disability and cannot afford a lawyer. they have guided me through some stuff i had no idea how to handle.

when you have a person who completely trashed an apartment, has a rabbit living in a closet with no cage, on the floor, left food in the fridge, overflowing cat boxes (that smell so bad you can barely walk into a place) you should be ashamed of yourselves. Representing honest decent tenants is one thing, but representing a person who 100% abuses the system is another. A woman who recently lost her husband of 48 years only 3 months before has to now ‘take care “ of his things for a month, because that’s what he was told by his legal representation. Holding up the sale and making the family clean the disgusting mess he left behind. Be ashamed. Someone like this does not deserve to be treated equally.

Was unable to get past the phone tree. Asked "press 1 to continue in english".......Pressed 1 and continued to received message that it was an invalid selection and to please try again. This continued to no avail.

Not helpful at all. Horrible service and they do not help when you need it most. Especially against an abusive landlord.

I used this to get my divorce, they changed lawyers on me 3 different times but most upsetting was that my lawyer did not send judge signed papers to the company so I could receive my due share of my ex-husbands pension. This has caused me to have the pension plan amended, having to get a lawyer again and due to lack of money I will have to use them again which means many long trips, I will lose many of the pension benefits I would of gotten had she done things correctly.
