Russell & Nicole were so helpful through every step of my SS Disability Claim. They answered all my questions. They were patient with my getting all the paperwork back to them. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good lawyer “he was looking out for me’”.

The Law Office of Russell Goldsmith was really fabulous to do business with. Stayed in contact with me at least 2 days a week. Very thorough with all my information that I needed and, sometimes they would call just to check up on how I was doing. Russell couldn't get a better secretary then Nicole. She is a sweetheart. They are a very outstanding Law Office . I would definitely go to him again if I needed help. He knows what needs to be done for his clients... Shelly Frothingham

If I could rate this firm zero stars I would. I almost never leave a review for anyone...good or bad, but after dealing with these people I had to share my experience. After spending 2 hours on the phone giving them all of my medical history I was told that I would hear back in 24 hours. 3 days later I had yet to get a call back so I called them. The paralegal that answered was very robotic and simply read back the "advice" from whatever lawyer looked at my case. Simply put, after she droned on and on about how I needed to do this and that and that I definitely needed to hire a lawyer, she asked if I had any questions. I was kind of stunned because she said nothing about this firm representing me. So I said "okay, well you say I need a lawyer...that's great. Where do we start with working on my case?" She said, "oh, sorry sir, we are not able to represent you." Again I was stunned. I asked her why not. She told me that she was not allowed to tell me that. I asked her to email or snail mail me the summary she had read to me. She said she cannot do that. So I asked again just to be clear, "you said I need a lawyer, so why won't this firm help me?" She simply said she would be happy to read the summary again to me so I could "take notes" but that is all she could do. What a F%@%ing waste of time!

It is pretty clear what happened here. They glanced over my information and felt that it was not worth even trying to help me since there was a possible risk that my case would lose. It is clear that this firm only cares about profit instead of actually fighting to help disabled people...and in my case a disabled veteran, get the benefits they deserve. I assure you that I have a valid case as another firm has confirmed this and SSA should rule in my favor. Please, if you live in Maine...this is not a firm that will see you in their Maine office before your screening.

We had a great experience with Mr. R. Goldsmith - he worked very hard and kept us informed of what was going on - he won our SS case for our daughter and I cannot express enough to him and his team of how grateful we were -
