This attorney needs to do fact checking on some of her recent postings regarding legal marijuana and its distribution. It IS legal to give marijuana and to charge for any unrelated transportation services such as meeting up with a recreational user. This includes, but is not limited to, deferring insurance, fuel, vehicle upkeep and any other related expenses that are incurred when any person meets another person at a particular location. You can charge anybody, anything to transport their vehicle to that locale. The law allows marijuana to be given for free at this time to consenting adults 21 plus, even if if the individual pays the unrelated transport fees at the same time. The Maine State Attorney General has given several interviews on this subject, so there should be no gray area on the matter for this attorney. The said attorney's preference for alchohol, green tea or any other substace over marijuana should offer no bias for her written commentary. The Maine AG has said this practice is Completely legal under current laws, and the State of Maine has no plans to ammend the law. Thats why this practice has gone on for nearly two years with Zero recourse to those who share their marijuana resources with other state residents.
RESPONSE TO OWNER'S NOTE:
Im not involved with any lawsuits..lol sorry.. ..and Im sorry you feel that anyone with an opinion different than you is " trashing you" Moreover, the word "keep" insinuates that I have some diabolical plan to consistently and repeatedly make your character appear diminished. This is the Only rebuttal I have EVER given concerning your public commentary. If you dont like constructive rebuttals, I suggest you stop giving public interviews. I'm using my constitutional right of free speach, but im sure you know that. You only feel your opinions are challenged because yoy have some legal leverage agsinst someone in court. Im surprised you dont think you are worthy of challenge for other reasons. Finally, I personally watched an interview from the Ag's office saying that they would have to ammend the law to make marijuana gift deliveries in this manner illegal. THEREFORE, they are Legal and that's why these deliveries occur everyday, all day, all over Maine with ZERO fear of retribution. ......that's how you present a case. ....now, with that said, when do i start?
