My wife and I worked with Jeffrey Moore for estate planning. Not only did Jeff make the process fun and interesting (shocker that you can say that about estate planning), but he explained everything in terms and concepts that were easily understood by those of us without law degrees. Subsequent to that process, I had a question about how to integrate a purchase with the estate trust we had created. I emailed well after the business day had ended (9:00 pm), thinking I'd get a response in the next day or two (which under the circumstances would have been fine). By 9:07 pm, I had an answer! I was absolutely blown away. Now please don't take this as a statement that Jeff provides 24 hour service - that was never his promise nor my expectation. It's just a testimony of the incredible service and attention I received from Mr. Moore.

I called early one morning to see if this firm had a lawyer that specialized in elderly law or something like that (Elder law is and the actual term). Their receptionist said she'd need to check because she'd never heard of one. When she returned she transferred me to another person who she said wasn't in their office, but I was to leave a message and they'd call me back.
Twenty-four hours later I still hadn't heard anything so I called back. A different receptionist answered and I told her I'd called yesterday, hadn't heard anything back, and asked if she knew if they had an Elder law attorney. She didn't know either and said the receptionist from yesterday would find out who I'd sent my email to and have them call me back.
These folks did a will and trust for my mother a number of years ago and wanted to update the trust. Due to her age an Elder law attorney was recommended by a friend of mine. So, I try to find out if they have any and this is how I'm treated. I'm thinking it's pretty bad when the receptionist at a law firm doesn't even know the type of law their lawyers practice.
