We went to Reynold’s Law Firm for A stepparent adoption. We had done most of the research and filings (which they did not like) but knew we needed some help completing it. Not only did they give tell us our info was wrong when it was CORRECT, they set us up with an incomplete filing causing delays and the original filing to be rejected. Maybe it’s not their strong portion of the but they should have been upfront instead of giving us sub par representation and setting us back.
Waste of time. Waste of money and most importantly a disappointment in what should be such an incredible time for our family.

Outstanding firm; knowledgeable, dedicated, professional attorneys. I highly recommend The Reynolds Law Firm.
Erin Duncan was professional, knowledgeable, client centered, responsive and made a difficult situation much easier to navigate. Erin was very timely in her responses to me, the court and other attorneys. She clearly explained all my options and ensured we chose the strategy that best fit me and my case. She easily navigated unexpected issues that arose with well thought out strategies. I would highly recommend Erin to anyone needing legal assistance! Her dedication to her clients is above and beyond expectations.

Top 3 WORST MISTAKES of my life. Filed an Oregon State Bar complaint.
Experiences vary; mine was horrific. (Edit: Notice nearly ALL reviews are after mine; guess they got busy calling people for reviews?).
My opinion is that my attorney focused the bulk of the case efforts on a doomed divorce trial that will never happen. $23,000 billing in ~2.5 months…then QUIT in third month – with 1 day notice and citing reasons I disputed. Only after the dust settled did I realize how atrocious her course of action was from the start.
Did you know only ~5% of divorces even go to trial? Custody was the sole matter in contention, but was never a feasible option for me. Should have been just negotiating for an out of court settlement from the start.
My attorney quit after I begged her to ask my wife’s attorney about negotiation. I had no idea if he was open to it (he later told me, yes, he’d wanted to do that). My attorney contradicted herself. She’d been working ceaselessly on a trial-- but the day she quit told me I couldn’t afford trial and it was ‘meaningless’ to even ask if trial was an option, and that custody was ‘not really an issue’ because there was a presumption my wife would get it.
Yep. The majority of the $23,000 of work she billed was for trial that a) statistically 5% of divorces go to, b) I could not afford, c) I could not win.
I’d paid $9,300 by time she quit, leaving me no way to hire a new attorney. Had to talk to spouse’s attorney, attempt to negotiate on my own with a lawyer with 30 years experience. Didn’t work. But that’s when he claimed he’d tried to negotiate previously, so I asked my attorney to provide those emails. She claimed she didn’t know what he was referring to. I don’t know what’s going on!
All I know is, when I met my lawyer at Reynolds Law Firm, I was (and am!) a 90% disabled, retired veteran. I was new back in Corvallis, Oregon, living on my pension & VA funds, with virtually no assets to fight about and no desire to fight over them. Was driving around in a $1,500 clunker, sleeping at my buddy’s as my wife and I had just split up. Took a loan to pay attorney’s $5,000 CASH retainer and paid $4,300 my credit card, maxing it out.
She dropped me like a hot potato. Don't be like me! I feel it was her fault for not just negotiating from the start instead of racking up tens of thousands in billing in such a short period, to no rational end.
Divorce temporary orders were settled by judge, not favorable to me, left me with less than minimum wage income by the time I pay support and joint debt.
Am literally sleeping on a pile of blankets in an apartment I only rented on the advice of the attorney, but which I couldn’t afford because I am still on the lease of wife’s house.
Divorce is far from over. I visited a new attorney for a consult; they quickly assessed that divorce trial was such an illogical option that she wanted me to sign a waiver saying, if she took my case, it would only be for negotiation.
I was lulled by their website, LOL. One of the biggest – and most expensive - mistakes I’ve ever made. Most of these Google reviews didn't exist at the time; again, they are all after my review which is telling.
Reynolds refused to acknowledge error on their part but did erase my outstanding balance when I complained I felt my attorney’s actions were negligent and left me in a worse position than I started.
I can’t get back the time, nor $9,300 paid already. I needed a Corvallis attorney wise enough to lay out a course of action that works. I didn't get that at all, and it has been a trainwreck. My wife’s attorney bill is higher than needed now.
I trusted my counsel to do right by me. That didn’t happen. “BETRAYED” is how exactly I feel. The above is my opinion based on my experience. Avoid this firm; there are better options.

Lorena Reynolds is a terrific attorney and a powerful advocate. She and her office went above and beyond in managing my case. Lorena knows the local legal system and is especially insightful about the specific challenges working mothers face in divorce. I especially appreciated that Lorena always was completely honest with me, even when delivering news or advice that she knew I would not like, which helped me deal directly with challenges. She knew when to be tough without ever losing compassion for the suffering I was experiencing or losing sight of the overall wellbeing of my kids. I am so grateful that she was recommended to me and I would heartily recommend her to anyone.

This is with regard to Justin Wirth, Esq. I am proud to have known Justin as a legal colleague for over 23 years. I have consulted him on many matters over the years. Most recently, he advised me on two litigated matters, with excellent results. Justin is extremely intelligent, intellectually astute, and very quick on the uptake, leading him to analyze the legal merits of both my recent cases quickly, decisively, and with good judgment. He has always cared for me as a client, and is always honest with me, consistently telling me the positive and negative aspects of my case, and our prospects for success. He routinely makes himself available at night and on weekends to ensure timely service to his clients. He is extremely ethical, tenacious, hardworking, well organized, and has an excellent reputation in the legal community. He is the first person I think of when I need assistance on any legal matter. I have recommended him to a number of other people, and will continue to do so.

With regard to the negetive reviews, most were posted by same person using aliases of alliteration. If you read all Jenny Jone's google reviews, you may note all are negetive. Try to have compassion for her expectations that are chronically unmet. I didn't explore her other alter egos, but feel free to google them if you have the time. Jenny Jones also complained about a hair salon that talked to much about cancer victums, without realizing this salon gives free makeovers to women going through cancer treatment. She's also oblivious to the owner's compelling reason for doing so, so caught up in the drama of her own victum story. Perhaps a trauma informed approach can help us accept Jenny's lack of compassion and world view. Her issues won't be solved be this law firm, because The Reynold's Law firm isn't about judging others, and is all about compassionate problem resolution. I have personally consulted with Reynold's Law Firm for business decisions, and received the information and resources I needed to move forward. The services were timely, professional and affordable. I will turn to them again for legal needs in the future. Of course, I may also get my hair done at Body and Sole again too.

An exceptional team! They did our estate planning work and spotted a host of key issues that will save us a ton in federal and state estate taxes. I highly recommend The Reynolds Law Firm. The family law unit is extraordinary as well. In fact, in October of 2017, Lorena's team picked up yet another prestigious award--this one from the Oregon Women Lawyers (OWLS)--recognizing the firm for its exception work serving low income clients. Efficient, ethical, and highly effective--end of story.

Lorena and her staff have been professional, empathetic, patient and compassionate during my darkest hours of a very difficult, and prolonged custody case with a retaliatory ex. There's no doubt that another attorney would not have the diligence, skill and intelligence to see through the tactics my ex employed. In the 6 years that Lorena have been involved, I have unconditionally recommended the Reynolds Law Firm to multiple individuals who had been searching for an exemplary and ethical family law attorney in Oregon.... not sure who's writing the 1-star reviews: bitter and upset opposing parties??

After owning a successful family business for 30+ years my husband had made the decision to sell. We both agreed that the Reynolds Law Firm (Justin Wirth) was the right fit to handle the process. This firm puts on airs as if they were really good and have all kinds of friends who post good reviews. However, they are not ethical. They will take your money and then do very little. After they take their vacation on your retainer they will bail and dump you. Don't believe the 'good' reviews as they have clerks in house who sit around and make up new reviews for them. Bad people. My sister experienced a very painful divorce and needed assistance to process it, including legal assistance. Her health issues exacerbated the situation for her. She feels very strongly that Liz and her team not only provided professional expertise but also gave her strength, moral support and true understanding. She describes them as "trustworthy, gracious, fair, and efficient" and said they all helped her to better understand aspects of the law which she'd previously had no experience with. She feels she has made life-long friends in Liz' team. I can truly concur with all of this, as I was part of the helping process and in the loop in terms of communications back and forth between my sister and the law team. In every communication we had, I felt great respect for their expertise, their professional manner, and their genuine kindness. I will always refer friends and loved ones to the Reynolds Law Firm and thank them for their great service to my beloved sister. It was hard for her to go through, but they made the process not only do-able but one that actually enhanced her sense of well-being at such a fragile time.

They have not always given me the news I wanted but they gave me the correct information and advised me what would be in my best interest which is much more important! Are they the cheapest in town? Interesting that there are 4 1-star reviews within a day that all seem like the refer to the same thing. Even odder that they complain about being steered towards a trial when my experience was the polar opposite: Lorena Reynolds did everything possible to talk me out of a trial and worked to bring in an expert mediator who helped my ex and I develop a plan we could both sign off on. I truly didn't think that was a possible outcome -- our case was very acrimonious -- and yet it happened due to Lorena's diligence and practical guidance.

Our family contacted Lorena Reynolds with a serious situation that developed quickly and unexpectedly. She suggested we meet with Erin Duncan from her firm since Lorena was going to be in court/depositions for most of the week. Erin was simply amazing, but that really only tells part of the story of how their firm has been working with us. Along with Erin we always felt like we had the entire team at Reynolds Law Firm behind us every step of the way. When Erin was unavailable we worked with Liz for protective orders. When we needed property advice we worked with Rance. When there was a question about strategy they would all confer with Lorena and Erin would then communicate their collective ideas to advise us on what they believed the best approach to our situation was. Erin and the entire team at Reynolds Law Firm have been excellent at communicating strategy, listening to our questions and concerns, and following through with everything they say they will do. I can't say enough about how impressed we are with all that they have done and continue to do for our family and the peace of mind it gives us knowing we have such a strong group of people in our corner, representing our family and our interests.

Here is a review I posted on FB about this law firm:
I had the pleasure of touring the new building for The Reynolds Law Firm, PC today with Lorena Reynolds (& Justin Wirth).
They deserve so much praise on their new building.
They designed a place that not only works well for clients, but more importantly, considers their employees: a workout area with equipment, childcare area / room for kids, nursing rooms, gender neutral / inclusive bathrooms, storage space for employee personal items, a kitchen (with three coffee pots!), windows in every office and meeting room, the list goes on.
When a company values their employees and clients, they will show it. It was so amazing to hear Lorena Reynolds beam about nursing spaces, and to see how proud she was to provide a space for when parents might need or want to bring kids to work.
I could go on and on... The Reynolds Law Firm, PC should be proud.

I called Mr. Wirth's office to see if he would accept a family law case and spoke to his secretary. I was told that if I wanted to speak with Mr. Wirth it would cost me $50.00 to even see if he would take my case. The secretary told me that even if he didn't want to take my case, it would still cost me $50.00 just to speak with him. So my "toll" to get past his male secretary was $50.00. When I told him I didn't find that reasonable he said goodbye and hung up. I have dealt with a great deal of lawyers over my career and never had such a poor experience with a law firm. I am never happy to file more papers with the court and take on the additional expense, but being a client of their firm puts my nerves at ease. I know it will be done right the first time and my odds of a favorable judgement are increased.
In the past, I had tried handling my own legal work which was a poor idea at best. Then elected to hire a budget priced lawyer.
