HA! Talk about false advertising. There is no thin-strong super hero at that office as portrayed on their website. I found Mr. Slezak. to be a cheap in and out pop-shop. He did not treat me like a potential client. Rather, he made several comments regarding what his perceived my age to be. Making comments like "why do you kids always use e-mail." Will I am actually 40-years old. He interrupted me many times when I would try to point out the facts he was mistaken on in his fast processing of what he assumed. Instead of reading the documents I had brought and reviewed with him. No time was taken to respect me, my time and my grievances. He hardly took time to shake my hand before processing my credit card for payment. I would call Saul before calling this old-guy.

I went and saw Richard. He gave me solid answers and was super professional and pragmatic. I should have gone to see him sooner when I first needed advice. He helped me out.

I, too, was referred by Oregon State Bar Association. My appointment with Mr. Slezak was scheduled around two months after receiving a referral from the Oregon State Bar. On June 5, 2017, I provided my credit card for $35, and met with Mr. Slezak, for up to 30 minutes (?)..... the cost was more than fair. I was unable to provide him with particular information of importance to me due to his style of interview control. He discussed the importance of documenting all correspondence in WRITING rather than corresponding in person or over the phone, he said, "don't call, write!" I appreciated hearing his recommendation! The next day, I called his office to request an email documenting our meeting and his recommendations. He refused to email or provide documentation of our meeting and/or his recommendations, stating, "I never provide my notes." Hummmmmm!

We saw this attorney based off a referral from the Oregon Bar. The attorney, Mr. Slezak, refused to let me join my spouse for a consultation, which was unusual as I had indepth knowledge regarding the case. When questioned he became defensive and slightly hostile, so we left. The receptionist also shares the same lack of interpersonal skills. Do yourself a favor and seek out someone who can leave the aggresiveness inside the courtroom, bot towards the client.
