We have been with AllerStallings for around 4 years and have nothing but good things to say about them. Anytime a legal question arrises, they answer it very romptly and have never asked for any additional compensation. Recently we sold our existing house to our Son and purchased a different home in back-to-back same day closings, and everything went real good, especially since they did all of the deed work for us and the people we bought from. I would not hesitate to recommend them for setting up a Trust and any legal matter that may arise, after the Trust is set up. Stop shopping around and call AlerStallings. I lost a family member suddenly and because the estate was not set up at all (no will, all bills active, investments and personal accounts active, etc.) I didn't know where to begin. I called the wonderful gals at AlerStallings and, in between nervous tears, explained I needed help to start the estate process. They were more than caring and helped me calm down, assuring me this process will be handled and to not focus unneeded energy on the estate as they would handle it. Since this type of legal work is ALL they do, they assured me of their expertise in estate dealings.
They were more than correct about their expertise. I simply dropped off 4 milk crates full of documents, taxes, bills, and any other paperwork I could find to start the process. They sorted through and collected anything they needed and we did a simple estate item list and they handled the rest. They set up appraisals and handled the transfer of all legal property. I didn't even need to go to the BMV/DMV, they handled EVERYTHING.
I live in Florida and my family member's estate is in Ohio. I thought this would complicate things as I needed to return to my home and work. It didn't cause any issues at all with AlerStallings. All I had to do in the 6 months that the estate was in probate court was sign documents mailed to me in Florida and set up an estate account. It was a very simple process considering that nothing was previously set up due to my unexpected loss.
Finally, and perhaps most feared by all, was the fee. Some attorneys will charge up to 15% of the total estate to handle all the things AlerStallings did. I was more than pleased with my final fee. Obviously I can't disclose this amount, but it was roughly 2% of the estate they handled. I firmly believe they worked very hard for that nominal fee.
I could go on, and on about all the little things they handled. All the VERY prompt communication, always answering the phone and returning calls, all the court proceedings, property transfers, etc. I'll just restate this: Stop searching and call AlerStallings, you have nothing to fear with this company.
