Gets the job done!

Jill is a well established attorney in Mahoning County. She is networked and knowledgeable, for those reasons she has an edge over other attorneys. My issue is that she wasn't personable. I got the feeling she saw me as an easy paycheck, especially when you look at how every interaction had an itemized charge. Just sending an email with a simple question or a 5 minute phone call cost me. My opinion afterwards is that I could have handled the processing of paperwork for the case on my own, attained a similar outcome, and saved thousands of dollars.

Her fees are spot on and she did a great job for me. As a father I expected less in the courtroom but she did her job excellently and I got exactly what I wanted. And I really didn’t spend as much i thought I was going to. Would recommend for sure.

I would highly recommend Attorney Landau. Her fee structure was explained at the start and is fair and in-line with others in the area. She was prompt in returning calls and her office staff was very helpful and courteous. She was there with me every step of the way. I am really surprised at the few negative comments and I am wondering if some of those reviewers were on the "other side" of Attorney Landau and her client.

She is good at her job and she knows it, but the fees are out of hand. One of the other reviews are right, she hands you a bill at the end and I cried, so hard once I received it.

She offered to do all the paper work for the agreement after I told her I’m out of cash and credit. It did seem she just wanted to drive the bill up. I’m taking $6,000-$8,000 for settling and not having a court trial.

I now have to file bankruptcy over going to court and protecting my rights as a mom. I’ve never had event a late payment and now I have to start over like this.

Attorney Landau did not return calls before court, was unprepared for court, did not have a high knowledge of law in the family court room. She did a poor job, then handed me a bill that was astronomical. I do not recommend this Attorney for any of your family court needs.

Ms. Landau was exceptional. My divorce was handled with professional standards and she was sympathetic and caring. I would definitely recommend her. Divorce took less than 5 months from start to settlement. I even got a reimbursement.

She was a very miserable person to deal with. she married a felon who served time and now attempts to be a divorce attorney. Because of her I get to see my kids once every 2 weeks. She is trash. Good luck to anyone who hires her.
