There was some confusion with respect to the police wanting to talk to me. As I had never been in such a situation, i was advised to retain a lawyer. A friend put me in contact with the worgul law firm. Samir was courteous and professional. He kept me updated as to his efforts to resolve the issue.

If I cd give neg10 stars I wd. Worst lawyers I’ve ever met. My boyfriend was the client but I paid the $4K retainer & they were such poor communicators it shd be a crime. They wd not answer key questions & wdnt take one call he made from ACJ. He pleaded guilty as charged (incl a felony) to get out of jail. The deal they secured was no deal at all but the judge threw it out (a judge with whom Samir supposedly had a good working relationship, ie, why we paid a premium) & imposed a harsher sentence from the bench that was heavy handed & incommensurate with the crime (others similarly charged got probation). They advised him to accept the stiff sentence on the spot/fly. Also, my BF had changed his life 180 since the arrest & was my sole breast cancer support, yet they never asked him about his life nor did they ask me anything about his character to submit to the court as good faith efforts made toward change. They weren’t his advocates. They’ve ignored reasonable requests for a $1500 refund and requests for a copy of his file. No sour grapes folks; just the truth. Hire an attorney who cares about you/your family/your life. They do exist.

I did however make the right choice in hiring the Worgul law firm , from first meeting with Matthew Ness, I realized he was a class act...he pulled no punches with me and let me know all of my options so that he could best represent me with what i wanted to do...he had never rushed me or misled me in what was going to happen...he offered advice,but consequently left the decision to me...truthful and honest he brought me through this mess. Good service and results for the price I paid. An attorney met me at the courthouse day of the case summons. Not much communication between him and I had occurred between the hiring conversation and the actual court date, and the attorney that met was different from the one person I had been speaking to up to that point. However, they did handle the paperwork and logistics well.

When I spoke to the lawyer, quite to my surprise.... He came across as rude, entitled, and then he hung up on me because I refused to be spoken to the he did to me. After a false police report was made, I was arrested for obstructing official business.... Even though the first arriving officer knew who we were and I have video evidence supporting otherwise. In the middle of all of this..... I lost hope and attempted to take my life twice and yes, I am and have been treated. Very heartless and he definitely needs Jesus. This is a highly skilled and experienced law firm that has clearly seen it all. It may seem that it can’t happen to you, but in my case I faced multiple charges after a disagreement with my roommate in our dorm room. Pittsburgh police and police in general are notorious for overcharging for a crime or an incident where they dislike the accused party, I felt that the criminal process instantly became more fair as soon as this law firm got involved. My parents and I were impressed when I was in contact with investigators and Assistant District Attorneys and Attorney Sarna was in close contact with them before and after our meetings. All of them he had a good or close relationship with and knew their demeanor well. Samir was able to have all of the charges withdrawn at the first preliminary hearing after initiating a civil settlement agreement with the accusing party. He negotiated with the Assistant DA to have the agreement accepted by a judge in lieu of the criminal charges. A lot of attorneys could just simply treat the charges at face value and move forward costing time and money. But Attorney Sarna considered all of the options in the case every step of the way and put an end to any nonsense. Given, this issue happened in a dorm room Samir was also in close contact with Carnegie Mellon and significantly helped in navigating the student conduct process. In that case as well he was able to negotiate an informal resolution with the university. Samir also significantly cares about his clients and well-being and was also available to answer questions about the case with family members who were effected, I’m very thankful for Attorney Sarna’s help with this case and I wouldn’t have chosen any other law firm.

There were some hiccups near the beginning, HOWEVER, they are absolutely worth a look and the free call even if all you have is a speeding ticket.
