If I could give Lloyd A. Welling zero stars I would.

My partner used this inept attorney to assist in the selling of her house only to find out that he is crooked, a liar, and a bully.

After she called him regarding the sale (from almost 2 years ago)(In which he NEVER transferred the DEED) He began to yell at her, bringing her to tears.

He was supposed to be HER lawyer.

This man should be disbarred and never aloud to practice law again.

We are initiating a formal complaint with the Commonwealth's Disciplinary Board.

We hired Lloyd Welling to assist us with the probate of my
sister's will. My husband and I live in Minnesota. My sister, who recently
passed away, lived in Philadelphia. After her passing we quickly realized the probate process was going to be a huge logistical challenge for us. We contacted several attorneys in Pennsylvania, all of whom charged an
outrageous rate by the hour and could not tell us what the final cost would be. When we contacted Lloyd he told us his fee would be based on a small percentage of the estate, so we were well aware what the total cost would be early on. We are very thankful we chose Lloyd as he was very attentive to the details of the probate process (which is a nightmare in Philadelphia) as well as empathetic to our needs. He was always available when needed and clearly explained each step of the process. We would most highly recommend his services!

I was literally on the Courthouse Steps when I called A.W.E. With lots of questions. Lloyd invited me to his office like an old friend. He explained the Estate process and answered my questions before I even asked them.
He walked me through the Courthouse to get things started so I could make it to the airport for my flight home. Everything else was handled by phone and emails from out of state.
The Estate Administration was completed in two months.

I had no idea what to do or who to contact when an estranged family member died. So I did what people do these days and went online and found American Wills & Estates. Lloyd confidently and capably guided me through the process of settling the estate of my family member. He communicated effectively throughout the process and let me know what to expect and the general time frame. I was shocked -- and pleased -- that during our first meeting, he drove us from his office to the prothonotary to file papers naming me as the executor. That really helped me feel like he didn't shilly shally about and wanted to get things moving -- which was a huge relief since I live out of town. Although the estate was a relatively simple one, it was a huge deal to me so having a professional guiding me through the settlement process was very comforting. As a real estate professional I have used attorneys all my life. It’s very rarely anything but a necessary but expensive and frustrating experience. With most attorney’s a simple 5 minute phone call or email ends up costing hundreds of dollars, and it gets to the point where you don’t want to ask the questions that you may have. Ok...first, everyone-everyone-EVERYONE should have a will, a living will, & an end of life directive! If you don't know why or think it is unnecessary, go talk to an estate attorney to learn the ramifications of passing intestate or becoming permanently infirmed at any age.
