I had an absolutely awful experience with Attorney Meg Burkardt in which she denied vendors the opportunity to serve the clients. She blocked a purchaser from using their preferred lender and used illegal tactics to achieve her best interests in securing a higher "cut" from an estate sale. She LIED, obstructed, and refused contact in order to control a transaction. I would NEVER consider using her.

In reply to YOUR reply, you insisted that the client spend his parent's CASH to suit your timeline, consequently separating them from their personal retirement funds(?!). You cannot even be honest in your rebuttal. To think you are an officer of the court makes me shutter. Shameful.

Felt taken advantage of. Cost was near double what was explained to me. Mismanaged funds but found no reason for me to be upset. I would not recommend unless you enjoy doing the leg work yourself whoke being kept in the dark.

Meg is a top notch attorney. She has addressed every issue our estate had with good advice

If only I could give -1 star review. Waiting almost 18 months for a liquid
estate to be settled, received FIRST communication after 18 months,
still no date. Why wait 14 months after someone has passed to do a tax return. Just unbelievable....pick someone else! No dates, no definitive answers, and so on.

In response to Mr. Baucom's review, allow me to set the record straight,, He was deceptive and misleading from the outset. He misrepresented the needs and desires of his clients for his own gain. When questioned about this, he became aggressive, and threatening. The bottom line is his business practices lack all class and are 100% unprofessional.
In this transaction, Meg not only represented me and my family's interest to the fullest extent, but also assisted Mr. Baucom's clients to extent possible.
In addition, Meg did not deny the vendor the opportunity to serve his client, the clients realized the situation and dismissed this vendor on their own, It was not a difficult decision.
Meg is upstanding, and I would recommend her to everyone I know
