Completely unprofessional! Can't do a breakdown of billing for emails etc. Most emails are just forwarded from the other parties attorney and when questioned about them she can't even respond because she's apparently never even read them herself. Actually sent an email regarding a divorce agreement but had everything so wrong that we had to call a meeting to sit down and explain things to her to get it straightened out...and to top it off even got billed for that meeting!! Everything was last minute...several times we had only 1 day to get to the opposing attorneys office to sign documents. Wouldn't produce certain documents which were extremely critical to the agreement. Once they were produced after a year we found out exactly what we needed to know and had been pushing to find out.....at that point we were told to seek other counsel. Ok we did do that and thank you for quitting this case you did us a great favor. We now have a real attorney who is baffled that a fellow attorney would even treat a client with such disprespect. Completely incompetent as an Attorney. Shame on you Steph!

Over charged me for things she never even did. Couldn't produce evidence of where my money went. Very unprofessional. Doesnt return calls. Totally leaves you hanging. We never even took my case to court and she charged me 1500$$. Did nothing yet kept all my money. A total loss. Would NOT recommend.

I would highly recommend Stephanie. She is not full of "fluff" and will tell you exactly what will happen.
I have not personally gone to her. But I am part of multiple groups in the state college Bellefonte area and whatever legal question comes up people are always commenting Stephani’s name I definitely if I ever need any legal advice would check her out first

Stephanie Cooper is genuine and honest. She is effective and timely. She has been my attorney for several years and she's quick to return phone calls and prioritize things when necessary. She's full of heart and has become a dear friend over the years.

Very unprofessional, waste of money, told us one thing and actually told the judge and my ex's lawyer something else. She screwed us over in custody. She has a foul mouth, does no work and charges for her time. She can't be trusted. She also shared information with my ex's lawyer that I had told her in a confidential email and the ex retaliated on my child.

I would suggest Stephanie for family law especially for male clients. Record presents and professional presents are everything you need on your side in a custody case.

She helped to finally get disability for me when I was denied and she is real and sugar coats nothing. I would definately use her again if need be.

Highly unprofessional Lawyer and secretary. They will take your money, do nothing then avoid your calls until you yourself have given up. Better look else where

I would not recommend Stephanie Cooper to anyone! I went there for a $50 consultation, I only had $60 on me I asked her if she had any change and she said no that she could add the $10 to the retainer for when I needed her because I was expecting to go to court soon and I was planning on paying her the $1500 before we went to court. Well needless to say I went home very upset because she insulted me in so many different ways I was very shocked she is even a lawyer! She is not professional, she was very rude to me she basically called me helpless and made me feel like all she wanted was my money. I got home and told my fiancé what had happened at the consultation and thankfully I had him there to support me. I decided she could keep my $10 and I would not be hiring her as my lawyer. Almost a week later she sends me a bill for $180 in the mail. She is a liar as well! She is charging me for things she never even did for me! I never signed a contract with her and I never told her I was hiring her, I told her I would call her if I needed her. I actually did call her out of panic because I was trying to find a decent lawyer quickly and she never got back to me ever! I went to her before I went to the liar James Bryant and then I got ripped off by him anyway! I will NEVER look for a lawyer from Centre county again! All they do is lie! I hope no one has to go through what I went through with lawyers from Centre County!

On May 4, 2015 my parents who are 95 and 89 were taken to the offices of Ms. Cooper for reasons unknown to them by 2 of my siblings. It was later learned that they were there to sign documents that were not explained to them, but turned out to be Powers of Attorneys and new wills. All this took place not in the office, but in the back seat of the motor vehicle they were in in the rear parking lot of Ms. Cooper's office complex over a period of nearly 2 hours. Not very professional in my opinion. Later we found out that Ms. Cooper wasn't even in the office to make sure everything was being done properly according to the existing Statutes of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. My rating would be "ZERO" stars, but you have to pick at least one star to post your review.
