When my wife told me she wanted a divorce, I was devastated and afraid I would lose my son to. Thankfully, we went to Alpha Center where we were able to work out a good plan to keep my son and I connected and a fair settlement of our finances. Our Attorney-Mediator at Alpha Center somehow managed to get us calmed down and focused on what's really mattered- our kids. Another reviewer hit the nail on the head. It’s a SCAM. Save your money and just do it yourself. Pathetic that this is even a service offered. Once they get your money you hardly hear from them and they take forever to respond. Also, if your spouse makes significantly more than you and you have been a SAHM..just get a private attorney. This place doesn’t care about you..they only want you to agree, shut up, and move on to the next. They don’t care about your kids either. It’s an act. I wish I could get my money back and put towards actual bills that mean something.

SCAM. Just like a get rich quick scheme where they promise you the world, this is the worst experience I have ever had. They charge around $8000 dollars for you to do all the work and they bill at $350 dollars an hour which is $200 more than my actual lawyer is charging. Then they give you a refund clause with no actual intention of ever giving you a refund when their four appointments at 2 hours a piece don't work out. They make you do all the work. They claim their service is better because it's a set fee. They claim that lawyers will nickel and dime you. They do have a set menu of services that you can add instead of hourly to justify their sales pitch so it doesn't look like they nickel and dime you. Except when the service doesn't work and then they nickel and dime the time so that they can justify not giving you a refund. If you only make it halfway through by their original logic to sell you, you should get half your money back. At least with a lawyer you know your getting nickel and dimed and the courts will force results. Pay a lawyer and do it right so you have someone who will actually represent you and not flip flop back and forth between the two parties. They put only therapists in the meetings, who I will say are very nice, but have no knowledge of actual divorce law and expect you to just agree. Mediation is probably not a bad thing when you actually have a lawyer that represents you on your side, but these guys try to play neutral until one party is more unrulely than the other and then they play favorites. I'm pretty sure the reviews above were from couples that were like two best friends that just wanted to divorce and still have drinks on Tuesday. If you think your doing the right thing by lining their pockets to make a divorce more civil DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY.

Seems weird giving a divorce mediation a 5-star "loved it" rating, but Alpha Center (and Matthew Pillischer in particular) made this as easy a process as we could have hoped. They were knowledgeable, considerate, responsive, and helped make a difficult experience not so bad. It also goes without saying that this was a much quicker and less costly process than a contested divorce proceeding. While I hope to never need their services again, I would if I found myself facing this again.

We used the Alpha Center for our divorce and I have recommended them to others since. Rather than the ugly dynamics of accusations and bitterness, we went through mediation - it was better for our children as well. Some situations may be beyond mediation so I know this isn't for everyone, but if you think you can get through divorce and be civil about it, this is a great service. I gave it 5 stars not because I loved it, (who loves divorce) but because it accomplished what we wanted for an affordable cost.

Divorce is stressful under even the best of circumstances. We were very impressed by the professionalism and the many resources available to us for a flat fee. Unfortunately, obtaining a divorce through litigation can drag on and on, draining a family's resources at a time when both spouses need extra funds to provide for separate households and their children's needs. No one wants their marriage to end in divorce, but Alpha provides absolutely the best way through this very tough time. I would wholeheartedly recommend them.

The whole process was WAY more complicated than it needed to be. They were incompetent and made A LOT of mistakes. They took our money and then closed out our case without completing it or returning phone calls. It was a waste of time and money. Buyer Beware.....
