Jonathan Kaye is second to none at what he does. I made the foolish decision of drinking and driving and got into an accident, foolishly admitted to the police I had a few drinks, and then foolishly blew into the breathalyzer as well - and blew slightly over the limit. Other lawyers told me there was no chance I could get the charges dropped, except for Mr. Kaye. He has a flat fee no matter how long the case lasts. "Although I only charge $1500, I treat all my cases like a $10,000 case." Mr. Jonathan Kaye said these words to me the day we met at the courthouse in 2017. I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical as all other DWI attorneys in my area charged a minimum of $5,000 retainer fee. As a first time offender, one could only imagine the fear I was experiencing. During my arrest, I blew high enough to be convicted of a felony. However, that was not the case thanks to Mr. Kaye. As a former ADA, he knew exactly what to do and what to say to get my charges reduced to almost nothing. I mean, I was facing up to a year in prison. Working his magic, he was able to get the DA to reduce my charges to a misdemeanor.

"Every call is answered by a lawyer." This is also so true of Jonathan Kaye (he will actually give you his cell phone number). I've called Mr. Kaye during the past one and a half years for different reasons. Each time I called, he picked up. And if he didn't pick up, he'd return my call before the end of the day. He responds to texts as well. I mean, who does that?! I will tell you who: Jonathan Kaye. I had an Interlock Device installed in my vehicle as part of my reduced charges. There were malfunctions with the device (it was eventually replaced by a functional device). I remember calling him crying because I kept getting violations. Mr. Kaye calmed me down and assured me that everything was going to be okay. Even after my case was over, Mr. Kaye still made himself available to me (at no extra charge) as I still had questions about the Interlock Device. He was able to speak with the DA and remarkably somehow convinced the DA not to proceed with additional charges. Thanks to Mr. Kaye, I am now eligible to have my IDD removed at the anniversary date of installation. I don't have to face the judge for a new charge and I do not have to have the device removed at a later date due to the violations reported to the Monitoring Agency.

So far so good everything about this lawer he’s very patient straight forward and my opinion honest all around he’s not like most lawyers he’s intentive to your situation and treats you with open ears and gives feedback within the best of his knowledge it’s pretty obvious he’s well known in the courts and respected. Therefore you can assume and see for your self he’s knows his practice very well . Basically I’m still in the process of my case but I will say he has gotten my DMV CASE DIMISSED which I’m very grateful for and surprised but I was very confident when I called for a consultation because he stated his aim in all case is really to get them dismissed if possible. If not then alternatives or lesser offenses Can be discussed worst case senerio which he made very clear. Nonetheless overall I’m praying I can get my criminal case dismissed because my work requires me to have a clean license and I was wrongly stopped now I’m dealing with this but time will time and I feel confident knowing I have a fighting chance with Mr Kaye on my side. In August 2017, I walked into Mr Kaye's office and a calm came over me!
