The lawyers and staff at the Bridgeport location are highly professional. This was my first encounter with a car accident and my case was addressed with urgency and care.

I called seeking representation for a car accident injury claim. First, I was told they would be happy to represent me and would be sending someone out to my work the following day to help orient me and have me sign some papers. The person they sent called after the appointment time to say he would be there in 5 minutes. He then called in 10 minutes and said he had hit traffic so wouldn't be there in that time frame at all. I called the office to reschedule (and I was a bit upset - as I had purposefully set aside the small break I had to talk to the rep) and I was told the head lawyer now thought the case might be too complex for them. They stated since the accident happened in another state, it might be best to seek a lawyer in that state - in case we had to go to court. Uh - ok - why wouldn't you have said this to me initially? The facts of the case had not changed in one day.

The only realistic explanation is that they would have happily negotiated a sub-par settlement for my case and taken their 1/3 ;- but they never would have went to court even if we needed to (since the accident happened in another state). Oh, and the big vehicle insurance companies would realize that was the situation as well - so they would settle for an amount that would make the lawyers happy to be paid, but not what might be in my best interests.

In summary: this place seems to be a standard wheel and deal injury lawyer. If you don't care that "Better Call Saul" is representing you, than by all means call them. But if you actually want a lawyer who does what they say, and cares about you as a client - I'd keep looking. It's not them.

PS - notice how all the good reviews for this practice are within the same 8m and 11 m ago time frame, with single review people only - likely fake. Be wary.

People in the office are generally friendly and are very helpful in the beginning. However, since my case has been settled I haven't heard from them and can never get anyone on the phone about my settlement check. So they are nice to get your case and work on your case, but good luck actually getting your money once your case settles!
