Having a divorce is not easy but being represented by a bad lawyer is the worst. That was a bad experience until I contacted Richie Ford so all changes, I got a lawyer friend who worked with strategy taking care of my interests as well as listening carefully to my concerns and always with positive answers, then in my court appearances I was always accompanied and supported With a great lawyer and better person Kristen Davaney always supporting me legally and emotionally. In conclusion, a great team and very professional and extremely human law firm. I recommend them and if you not believe me, call them and you will begin to convince yourself. I wish I could provide Kenneth Keith with a good review. However, he was absolutely awful. He represented me in a divorce case for a brief time until I fired him and went with a more knowledgeable attorney. Mr. Keith did absolutely nothing for me. He was a novice negotiator and all he did was incite anger between the parties. I was embarrassed that I hired such an incompetent lawyer at the recommendation of a friend. All he was concerned about was collecting his fees. If I could give Mr. Keith 0 stars I would. Run...run and hide from this awful divorce attorney. Remember, I warned you. Good luck!

Ten years ago, when I was going through my divorce, I hired Richard Ford to represent me in my divorce. I had met with several lawyers prior to hiring Richard. A co-worker's sister who was also a lawyer in a different field, recommended I meet with Richard.
From the very beginning, Richard came across as very genuine, he was as painfully honest to me as I needed. My divorce was not very amicable, but Richard made it bearable. He always kept me in the loop, letting know what to expect, and a timetable of when he thought life would get easier.
Going to court with Richard, you can't help but notice the great rapport he has with other lawyers, (including his opposition), the clerks, and the judges we came across. Seeing the respect the many lawyers walking the hallways of the different court houses showed him, definitely put me at ease. My first court date, I was pretty nervous, and he quickly calmed me down knowing I was in good hands.
As I mentioned the divorce was not amicable, and as nasty as some of the comments my ex may have said during our meetings, Richard remained the course, professional, courteous, and so much more knowledgeable than our opposition. Just watching his courtroom demeanor, you could sense his total knowledge of the laws with regard to my case, and how he was going to try to convince the judge to see how they pertained to me.
Richard's listening skills were very much appreciated. Too many lawyers, (and a lot of non-lawyers), tend to just talk, and not listen to your' responses. Without listening skills, the lawyer misses pertinent information. Richard made it known from the very beginning, he wanted to understand every aspect of the case and look at it from all angles. It was funny as he would refer to the "Godfather" movie as to not wanting to walk into a surprise that i didn't inform him on. He used the line in the movie.

Highly don't recommend!
They misspelled both mine and my wife's name almost in every document in my purchase of a house. I am fighting with them to fix it (I live in the house for 2 month already). I found out the assistant, Michele, talking behind my back about me with other companies involve in the process.
Important parts of the contract I would never agree too were presented before me at the closing. YOU MUST read every word in the contract you sign.. DO NOT trust them to have your best interest!
I lost a lot of money because of poor negotiation on my behalf. They do not represent my best interest, they were only fighting and convincing me to accept of the other party terms. Example: The house included air condition units. Each unit cost about $3000. One didn't work and I got $300 for it. To fix it cost $1100.

Keith, Shapiro, & Ford gave me a lawyer to whom I can comfortably consult to. He makes me understand all the things related to my divorce. I was glad that through my lawyer, who is a very effective one, my life and ex-husband's life are now better. We are living our own lives now, leaving the past behind.
