This was my first time getting a lawyer and trying resolve a lawsuit and from start to finish they were the absolute best I could ask for. Rude paralegal. She makes multiple phone calls and emails to acquire about my case, almost an harassing experience. I did return her phone calls and emailed her to get an update on my case. For over three weeks she ignored my returned phone calls. She never returned my calls. Even the lawyers never responded to my emails and phone calls regarding their rude paralegal behavior. A law firm like this is only interested in big cases that can bring revenue into their business. I recommend to use another law firm. After being in a bad accident the last thing you want is a headache dealing with paper work, medical Bills, Theraphy ect. I reached out to Cohen and Jaffe because of the their reviews and they really live up it to. From the moment I called all I had to do was give them my information and full detail of my accident at that was it. All the paper work were handled by them in a timely manner all o had to do was snap a picture of anything they needed and email it over. When I was hit by a car and lost both my jobs I thought I would be homeless. I had never sued anyone, and didn't think I would get any money. I had been hit before and the police said since I was barely injured that I wouldn't get a cent. I went into this car accident thinking I wouldn't get anything and that I would have to suffer for the rest of my life. Granted I will suffer from injuries sustained for the rest of my life, at least I have something to fall back on. This is due to Richard Jaffe handling my case and letting me recuperate and bounce back, with my medical bills paid for, and my wages compensated through no fault. All of the staff that I had worked with had been professional courteous and reminded me of appointments so that I could get the best possible settlement. 1/3 went towards their office, along with some fees, but he reduced those fees and put them in my pocket a gesture of good faith and understanding towards my situation. The only fault I have is that they insisted to accept the first offer which was really low and was told it was due to biased/ racial issues with the jury

Let me begin by letting all know this law firm Cohen & Jaffe are extremely professional.. this is no fly by night ambulance chaser firm.

If you are looking for people that care about you, not just the case then you are on the right track with this firm. They make the process as simple and as little time consuming as possible explaining in detail making sure you understand all aspects and are comfortable when you make your decision to hire them or not to (like I said they really care about the individual)

They were always a phone call or office visit away, So you can be secure in knowing when they take your case they will fight to get you the most that you deserve with as little disruption to your busy life.

What else can I say, They went above and beyond to help me get the most that I deserved. I was very pleased with them to say the least and the amount I received for my case. I would highly recommend this firm to anyone who wants serious lawyers.

Signed up with them 3 weeks ago and got a call today saying they were dropping my case. The reason was because I couldn’t start physical therapy right away due to my injuries and having to get an approval from my insurance. Yet three weeks prior they were aware I didn’t start therapy as I had 2 surgeries going on a third and was recovering but still chose to take my case. I called them a week after I signed up as I had a question about the billing for therapy, no answer and I left a message, today was when I guess they returned my call. If you can’t start your therapy right away don’t waste your time with these people. Don’t be fooled by the ratings and reviews, you’d be surprised how many people had bad experiences and don’t post a review.
