In 2007, I came to Jusino as a 22 year old in search of justice. My father had averted from paying my college which was under the divorce settlement he reached with my mother. Because of my fathers negligence, around 10,000 in debt fell on top of me and I needed representation. Phillip was informative and was always in contact with me regarding the matter. Everything seemed smooth sailing until our first court date. Instead of showing responsibility, he sent his sister, Lisa Jusino, to represent us. Lisa had no knowledge about our case and no aggressiveness at all regarding this case. After our first date, they hatched a deal to ensure my father would my make payments towards me. He didn’t follow through with the new contract and I wasn’t receiving any money. I called Lisa to make another petition. She was reluctant, nonchalant and think it was too soon. I pushed for it and she relented. Our second court date, we had to literally coach Lisa in what to say to the judge when she entered the chambers. After many years of my father filing bankruptcy to avoid paying the debt, I won out and got my money. Lisa was hardly instrumental and acted more like a religious teacher than a bulldog lawyer. Just a cautionary warning so others won’t waste their time and energy with this firm.

I went to Phil Jusino a few years ago I retained him for my divorce proceedings. Aside from being a useless lazy pompous so called lawyer. He was more interested to see if he could get me into his bed. Too bad at the time I was emotionally broken and very naive coming out of a 16 year marriage, I would have sued him for sexual harassment. I specifically remember one afternoon- he and I were in his boardroom going over specifics of my divorce - he asked me to get up and shut the door for more privacy- I did as he asked and as I sat back down, he said “I really only asked you to close the door because I wanted to check out your ass and legs”. Till this day I can’t believe I actually let that and other sexually inappropriate acts he’s done and said go. I was so uncomfortable I fired him and got another attorney. Part of me was protecting his children because I didn’t them having to go through the embarrassment of their father being a lying cheating sexually devian scumbag. The last thing this guy should be doing is practicing law especially around vulnerable naive women. He’s nothing more than a predator.

I have been dealing with the Suffolk county family court system for many years. I've brought forth many petitions, modifications, appeals with countless attorneys and it always never ended well for me. That was until I met Mr. Phillip Jusino of Lake Grove, NY.

It was on one of my many court appearances in Family court that I encountered Mr. Jusino on the elevator. I introduced myself and asked him for a business card. I engaged in a brief conversation with him mentioning that I always see him there and that he must be good. He smiled and I found him to be a very pleasant and approachable man. We ended our conversation with him stating that he hoped he could help me one day. I kept his business card till my next appearance and called him. He was very knowledgeable, efficient and professional along with his staff. The whole process that I dreaded in the past was made a breeze by Mr. Jusino. When he attended my first hearing I was amazed that I now had a voice in the court room. Previously with other attorneys my requests and suggestions to the courts went unanswered. He fought for me diligently and vigorously and I finally had my day in court. This ordeal that had been weighing heavily on my family and I was finally over and in my favor.

I hired Mr. Jusino because he was recommended by a friend to help handle a speeding ticket that me and my other friend were issued on our motorcycles for doing 100mph in a 55mph by pacing(according to the officer). I told Phil how the officer was lying from the start when he pulled us over. Long story short the officer first told me he got us on radar. Then when I asked to see the radar he told me to walk away and wrote down pacing when I know he didn't pace or radar us nor were we speeding. When Phil or his assistant(whoever he claims handled it) told us they went to the pre trial conference the first time he claimed he had our suspended(they never were yet) license reinstated and we still had the same violation which was never bargained at all. Then when the second pre trial conference came around he said he was able to have it reduced to 96mph in a 55mph zone which is still the same 11 points for being over 40mph in New York State. We even had defensive driving and a motorcycle safety course on our record. This man and his law firm clearly can't handle traffic court because we had a strong case against the accusation made by a pacing method when our officer lied about it. Even 1 more mph(95) would have reduced our points down from 11 to 8 if he learned how to negotiate. We were even so confident about it we were willing to go to trial but Phil insisted it was not a good idea and we would probable lose. This has to be the most incompetent lawyer out there. DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR ANY TRAFFIC INCIDENTS.

I got ripped off by an incompetent and lazy law firm.
Literally nothing was done right on the case. The office staff doesn't even bother to keep you informed, they treated me with complete disrespect. Even after communicating with Phillip multiple times, their behavior did not change. Phillip showed no ability to negotiate and always gave in to the demands of the opposing lawyer. Even after pleading with him that he stick to joint custody of the kids, he ignored me. In my opinion this firm shows heinous professionalism. Phillip is slow and easily distracted. He could never remember any pertinent details of my case.
In all, my expectations were destroyed.  I would never recommend Phillip J. Jusino & Associates.

Big Stupid Clown

I hired Phillip to handle a very important case for me. Upon first meeting he came off as a easygoing person that gave the perception of confidence knowing what he was doing. He convinced me to put down a 10K retainer because he said my case was extra difficult and needed more attention then the others like it. Soon after the check was cashed Phillip's office filed paperwork for court and Phillip began going to court hearings. Each month he would appear in front of a judge. This went on for seven months with nothing being accomplished. I started to get a little anxious and asked when the case would go to trial. He told me soon. Five more months passed and nothing happened. Phillip had used up over none thousand dollars of my retainer and was asking for more money. He assured me that things were going smoothly and he would finish up the case soon. Finally after three more months the case went to trial. Phillip had charged me for over 30 hours of pre trial prep and would only come in with a sheet of paper with 5 things listed on it. The trial was a total failure. Phillip could not hold any ground against the opposing attorney. He lost every single battle. He just did not care about doing a good job. It seemed he was fearful of saying anything at all and just stood there like a big stupid clown. In the end I got stuck with a massive legal bill which I had to pay for. I started looking on the internet for other people that reviewed him and noticed that all of the good reviews gave no details of what he did right. I then noticed that his own office staff was writing reviews about him. I am very sure at this time the Phillip J. Jusino & Associates and associates are nothing more then a bunch of matchstick men. I see they post fake good reviews on Google and other sites to hustle people into their office. Phillip is lazy, apathetic, slow, and a liar.
Beware of this person. The people he hires lack all integrity and are of the same caliber as him.
